The location of this hostel is perfect. Walking distance to the old town and the train station is just right there. Many school trips also used this hostel, so it was very safe and affordable. Definitively recommend it.

The property being so close to the Hauptbahnhof and an short walk to the Altstadt makes 4You an ideal place to stay. The place is also clean and very nice. Top notch.

Pleasant stay
Close to main train station and metro station. Great and affordable buffet breakfast option. Two free drinks are given per night stay. The only facility lacking in the hostel is a guest-accessible kitchen.

The hotel room was great for our family of four. One double and bunk bed twin beds. The hostel was very busy with large numbers of young people who were not quiet or respectful of the property.

Excellent location, friendly staff, breakfast
We rented a 4 bed room with on suite bathroom. The room was large, shampoo and soap was provided, towels and linens. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice, bar, lounge, luggage storage and breakfast included. Walked into old town every day, 20-25 min walk. 5 min walk from central station. Highly recommend if all you need is a base of operation! Super comfortable and convenient.

Basic, but clean and tidy. Make sure to remember a towel, or be prepared to pay extra. Not that greatest for families, but okay if you have earplugs.

Room had no curtains. Heating in the room was very poor. Hostel staff were very unfriendly and not knowledgeable about the city or surrounding areas. Was also super dead, no social events. Only positive was that the cleaning staff was super nice and the rooms were relatively clean.

Short solo weekend trip in Munich
I took a solo trip to Munich for a weekend from Oslo, NO… Check in was no stress. I also got a 1 free drink voucher for each night of my stay. For a hostel, I specifically remember myself thinking the staff was quite impersonal and not very engaging outside of the bare minimum. With that said, they were pleasant and answered any questions I had. I was here in late February, so there was still covid certain regulations looming - for ex, the bar and small cafe area were not serving any food or drink so there was a definite lack of social environment for a hostel. But again, this I imagine is moreso due to covid. The bedrooms were very standard, as shown in the photos. Nothing more or less, an outlet + 2 USB ports for charging stuff right on the bed was very convenient. Bathrooms and showers I found to be a bit on the unclean side. I was provided a duvet and pillow but thankfully had brought my own towel as you are not provided one from the hostel. In terms of location, it is very close to Munich central station, which is convenient. But generally speaking is not the nicest area of Munich. It took a roughly 10 min walk to get to Marienplatz for example though which is very convenient as well. Check out was very simple and straight forward.

An affordable hostel with great location
One of the best affordable hostel stay next to the main train station. Services is on point as a hostel. Location is excellent. However, some room just got floor renovated so the “new material odor” could somehow irritate someone who is allergic to it.

A great place to stay in Munich
I really enjoyed my stay here! It was clean, practical, and efficient. I liked how you received a free drink coupon when you check in, and there is such a big reception area. A special shoutout to Jenny! She is very kind and genuine, helped me with check in and gave me tips about the area. If you decide to stay here I hope Jenny is at the reception to greet you! Bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable and there's no complaints from me. Will definitely be back 10/10!

Good location, very close to the main station. Good breakfast, it has a lot of varieties, different kinds of food, including different kinds of ham and bread. They give you free drink coupon for everyday use. You can use the coupon to change a drink (Like coke, tea or water..) Good - The building is non smoking. I don't like there are a lot of people smoking just outside the entrance. There is only one lift for customer to use. So sometime we have to wait for a long time to take the lift. If you stay on 4th floor and above, you need to take the lift!.

Great choice!
The location is great, very near the central station. The service was quick and the perks of staying here is awesome. You will get free drink coupon which you can redeem either beer, soft drink, hot drink, etc and also you got free breakfast with various choices. Ranging from ham, cheese, cereal, bread, milk, juice, local delicacies and so on. Overall it was a perfect stay, even if you share room with 12 people, it was still comfortable and enjoyable. Cheap and reasonable price!

Uncivilized and noisy
I didn't find the bathrooms dirty or unkept (at least not in 2nd floor) and front desk quite friendly and helpful. However, this property seems to attract uncivilized and harassing patrons. From smoking in the bathrooms and bar, harrassing women and shouting, the management did little to keep the other guests at peace. Specially being called a youth hostel, the behavior of some guests was completely non-acceptance. A pitty, then overall the well equipped infrastructure and location has great potential. The breakfast was varied and of good selection. A few fruits)veggies would help for vegetarians. Overall, was the most expensive place we stayed and the worst experience.

When I came to check in, I felt that I was not as welcomed. I think it was an off day and it did rain so it was a somewhat gloomy day. I do think internet was fine as it is and was fat. Hopefully staff service can be improved in the future.Free breakfast and a great bar but those are mainly the strongest benefit

The hostel is about 3 minutes walk from the Munich Central Station, very convenient. Free drink every night at the bar, good for meeting new people. However, the hot water shower is not hot enough and there is no hook to hang your clothes and shower gel etc. There is a small laundry room in 1/F, however, the dryer took me like 1.5hr to dry the clothes…… Staff are friendly but there will be no one at the reception at around 12am

Shower room problem and noisy guests
The shower head design is quite bad that it may wet your clothes even you hang it with a plastic carrier. There is no heater in the toilet,so it's too cold inside the shower room. The teenagers staying there made a lot of noise along the corridor,they were shouting, running, banging and slamming the door and even did exercise on the corridor from 8pm to 11pm for the consecutive 3 nights. The staff at the counter was not willing to help though I complained 3 times. The double decker bed on the lower part is too low, our head easily hit the metal bed and it's painful. The breakfast timing should be flexible as we have to leave earlier b4 7am, the hostel should let us have our packed breakfast but the staff in the kitchen did not allow us to have our breakfast at about 655am.

Nice place, met some great people. Bar staff are friendly.You get a free beer token for each night you stay. But the bathroom isn't ensuite, so you have to go down the hall. But there is a lift which helps with heavy baggage.
