Dear Guest, thanks for your feedback! We really appreciate your 5 points! Our Hotel is located in Via Veneto area, a nice and safe location, only 10/15 minutes by foot from the most important touristic attractions. The public transportation allow you to reach also the Vatican or the Colosseum in a very quick and comfortable way. Regarding the breakfast, specially in the last few months we have spent a lot of energies to try to meet guest's expectations giving them a lot of choice, so we kindly ask you to give us your suggestion, it is very important for us to improve our services. Kind regards Hotel Veneto Palace Staff

Spent 3 nights in Rome, this hotel is ideally located. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away. We never used a bus or taxi to get anywhere. The weather was sunny for the duration so made the most of it. Spanish Steps: 10 mins Trevi Fountain: 15 mins Colosseum: 30mins Vatican: 50mins Hairdryer (essential for the missus) and a safe found in the room, tv and a decent bed. Only slept and changed in the hotel, too much exploring was taken place. The staff were class, very friendly and most importantly made sure any problem was solved as quick as possible. The only problem we had was the shuttle bus, Expedia haven’t provided a company name. The hotel staff made sure we got picked up. Breakfast was carb heavy, exactly what you need before walking 11-12 miles in a day. Wide selection of cakes other naughty treats aswel as the bacon eggs etc. The food was ideal! We went on a sight seeing holiday. If you and your partner are looking for a decent hotel where you can get your head down and have some breakfast before a busy day then select this one. I read too many reviews with people moaning about random details that in hindsight have no impact on their holiday they just like to have something to moan about. Rome is ticked off the list now, should I go back for sporting events etc then i will be re booking!

Great location and friendly staff

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: The only fly in the ointment was the disappointment of an additional local tax of 6 ergo per day per person at the hotel above Expedia price
Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable , quiet. Breakfasts were great. Location was super, just blocks away from the Trevi fountain, lots of nearby restaurants, close to pick up points for local hop on hop off bus tours.

Dear Willy, thanks for your kindness! We are glad that you enjoy your stay here and our city! We are sorry about the disappointment about the city tax but unfortunately it can't be included in the reservation price because it can only be payed locally. We hope to see you next time you coming in our city. Best regards.

Nice hotel for weekend break.

Posted May 1, 2017
Pros: The style of decor which suits the area.
Cons: Tea and coffee in room
Location: As above in experience.
Nice hotel, short walking distance to some of Rome's tourist sites (10 - 15 mins). Good service from staff and very helpful. Lots of eating places near by which is a plus.

Really nice hotel close to the Via Veneto .

Posted Apr 22, 2017
Pros: Within easy walk to all interests.
Cons: Draw space was absent in room, would have been an asset.
Location: Location excellent near Via Veneto and many restaurants to suit all tastes and price.
Pleased with hotel and room comfortable for three of us! Only complaint was no draw space for unpacking!!!! Not much of a problem when only here for 3 nights though. Staff really friendly and very helpful, breakfast just right!!

Very charming hotel In quiet neighborhood

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Helpful and attentive staff eager to make arrangements, recommend restaurants, and answer questions. The hotel is a doable walk from the Spanish Steps area but a welcome respite from the crowds in that area. All in all a great choice. Rooms are a comfortable size and well appointed.

Good price and service- underwhelming room

Posted Apr 18, 2017 on Hotels
Location although not a far walk from the Spanish Steps and shopping was okay but not my preference in Rome. We selected this hotel because of the reasonable price and knew that meant the hotel would not be above standard. We had a window facing a wall and that did not bring in a lot of natural light. The actual room however was well lit. I didn't love the room but that didn't really matter since we were gone most of the day. The bathroom was clean and although the shower was small the actual bathroom was spacious. The staff was great at providing suggestions and overall customer service. Breakfast was just so-so but nice to get started with some coffee/tea and a croissant before you go exploring. Neighborhood- I really liked it actually, although not close to tourist attractions like the Trevi it isn't an impossible walk but it is an enjoyable one in a nice neighborhood with good eating options. I probably would not stay at this hotel again but that's not because it wasn't a good hotel, just not my style. If you are looking for reasonably priced hotel to lay your head down at, it could be the right choice for you.

Dear guest, Thanks for your comment. Our rooms conserved the old style of Italian ancient palace but we try to revise them. Good regards.
