Let down by poor bedding
Generally everything was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, modern facilities and very clean room. However, the bed! There was a solid and uncomfortable mattress protector - or such like. Basically, it felt like sleeping on a thick plastic sheet. Not pleasant.

Overall this is a great budget friendly property. I was surprised by the lack of readily walkable eateries. No on site restaurant. The few that were interesting online require reservations and I was unable to get reservations on same day. Bus service is a sparse; so getting into Cartagena city center is challenging unless you take a taxi. Also the beds are very hard and the standard double room is two twin beds pushed together. I had an issue with the two sliding apart while trying to sleep.

Stayed recently at Posadas and had a very enjoyable time. The hotel is well situated for access to Cartagena and close to motorway links. The rooms are well maintained, clean and the majority of staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is basic, however provided enough options for everyone. Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the Cartagena or local area.

Convenient hotel, clean , but bed very hard.
Hotel very convenient to Cartagena and also shopping Mall. Hotel and room very clean, BUT BED VERY VERY HARD, I think the cushioned laminated floor in the room had more give. We visited mid week, the bar had a nice ambience and the prices where excellent.

No food available in the evening when we arrived and no nearby eating places. The room was a smoking room even though we requested non smoking. The bed was very, very hard. Otherwise good value given the tie of year.

nice hotel - mod cons - odd location next to major hiway and in apparent industrial park - good soundproofing so location not problem, though GPS does not warn of sudden appearance - sleek, modern appearance though clientele appears to be all working class men - my daughter was only female in dining room of 20-25 m3n

Visiting Cartagena, Spain
We enjoyed the friendly staff of Posadas de España en Cartagena, Spain. We had two rooms and the value was great, clean and comfortable rooms, free parking and location was just great. Less than 5 minutes driving from hotel is a mall with great options for tourists.

International Hotel?? I think not
Very disappointed in a few points, we found that only a couple of staff we came across could speak English. The restaurant did not open until 8.30 pm, closed at 10.30pm, very limited menu, No English menu, we had to use an online translate page as no one in the restaurant could explain anything to us.

Very accomodating accomodation
Hotel was clean and good value for money. Close to motorway but not noisy and 15 min drive to main tourist area in Cartagena. Shopping mall a few minutes drive away, Reception were very friendly and welcoming. We came in late and as restaurants were closed they kindly helped us order a pizza for delivery as we don't speak Spanish.

Nice hotel
Hotel was clean. Friendly staff. There is a restaurant, but we didn't eat there. Easy drive to everything in town. Bathroom was nice, large and modern. Beds were a little in comfy and could be updated. But it was fine for the one night we were there.

Not in the town center but so whatb.
If you have a car and need a place in Cartagena you could do a lot worse .Room was clean and staff were very friendly ,I'll be staying there again .

Helpful staff. Hotel clean and quite comfortable but in an industrial area. Breakfast adequate although 'hot' items could have been hotter. We were disappointed that the bar/ restaurant was not open Friday, Saturday nor Sunday evening. We could not find a restaurant close by which was open either. Aldi, a short walk away, came to our rescue.

Limited facilities in the close season. Ie restaurant only open for breakfast. Staff are lovely, rooms nice and free wifi.! Very reasonable room rates too. Recommended.
