Truly, I always come back to this property when I’m staying anywhere in middle tennessee. They housed me for a long stay several years back when I had to be near the hospital all day, and it’s just as lovely and accommodating now as it was then. The staff are all so kind and helpful, and everything was so clean. The halls are quiet and the beds are comfy. I know hotels can be a toss up when it comes to choosing one, but this one is a real gem.

We had a problem with bugs in our bedroom but staff was very nice and changed us to another room. Location is great, close to Medical Center where there is plenty of dining opinions.

Convenient location and parking. Didn’t know it did not include breakfast, but price was right. Pet friendly hotel. Saw two dogs/ owners in halls. Noise or odor was not a problem, but prefer hotels where pets don’t stay inside due to a previous bad experience elsewhere. A drive-up covered entrance would have been nice because it was raining when we left. Probably won’t return.

Excellent service
The young lady at check in was so friendly and the check in was super fast. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The second night of my stay the heat went out. It was 11 degrees outside so to say it was cold, it was cold. They called a gentleman in and he brought a new unit to swap it out with. That took no longer than 20 minutes and the heat was back on. Excellent service if you ask me. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay. Thank you!!

Was a nice room and fairly quiet. However upon arrival, we were informed that "expedia", or the hotel, overbooked our room and we had to settle for a non-king bed (wanting king bed was the reason i placed reservation with them in first place). Upon waking early in the morning, we find out there is no breakfast available at all, just coffee. So the one time i decided to splurge on a high priced hotel, i got a nice room, but screwed out of my king suite and expected nice breakfast. Im not a frequest traveler, so guess i need to lower my expectations and read fine print.

Hello Rod, Thank you for staying with us at the Candlewood Suites. We are sorry that you were misinformed that we had breakfast here. Do to us being an extended stay with kitchenets every room. This brand doesn't offer breakfast. Trust me, myself and my team wish we did offer breakfast. :) Should you end up staying with us again I would recommended booking with hotel directly so the mishap with the room type does not happen again. The shower would not turn leaving a drip all night. Also, no coffee cups for the coffee pot. Brought both to the attention of the staff and nothing was done. Received a surprise $50.00 charge on my credit card.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly! One of the rooms in our group didn’t have a shower due to the remodel, so when they told the front desk staff they discounted their room and apologized.

Great room
Great stay! We had a one bedroom suite with a little living room and fully stocked kitchen. Bed was comfy, plenty of linens/towels. Front desk staff was friendly. Accommodated our pup. Nice area to walk my pooch. Felt safe and room was quiet. We have already booked a return trip for next month.

Our first room was very nice and clean , unfortunately the air did not work. We were in need of an accessible room, and there were no more available. The staff was great , put us in another room very close and let us us the shower for the accessibility piece of our stay. The second room they put us on was not as clean, and had a musty smell. But I appreciated the staff on trying to make things tight for our visit.

The property is dated which is ok but my room was damp and musty. The bathroom floor stayed damp, the exhaust fan was not helpful. I used a towel the first night once and it never dried the whole week I was there. The first floor is cooled but the hallways are not and extremely hot in the evening. I mistakenly didn't were my shoes and my feet were black from the carpet in the room. The bed was comfortable. I think the feather pillows had been washed but not dried completely and they smelled terrible. When I spoke to staff they were friendly and helpful but rarely at the desk. The lobby between the sliding doors often smelled like cigarettes.

Property was dirty even the hallways were disgusting. We paid way too much money for the room to have my toddler have blackend socks at the end of the night. The chair was broke in the room. It has peeling on the leather arms. The tub had 2 hairs in it when we arrived. There was 2 beatles in the hallway along with what looked like spilled cat liter. It was a horrible stay.

We needed a place to sleep. The staff was accommodating to our needs. We got two rooms next to each each other even though they were fully booked. Which was great! The downfall is no breakfast!!

The location and outside appearance was good. The room was clean. The walls behind the sink and counter area were dirty as well as the refrigerator door. Didn’t feel safe touching anything. Floors were not clean and the beds were half made. Disappointed I was denied a receipt when I checked out. I was told Expedia would have to give me a receipt due to me booking my room through them.

My first room had wet carpet from being cleaned. It smelled musty and there was no TV. My second room was better. It was on the third floor. We could not get the elevator to work. Every time we hit the 3 button to get up to our room, nothing happened. We gave up and went up to the 4th floor and came down the stairs to the 3rd. The check out clerk told us no discount since we booked with Expedia. Not happy about that.
