The lobby smelled like mold, breakfast was kind lacking, the bed was VERY stiff but the staff was really nice.

Non smoking filth and reservations

The entire floor we was on were non smoking rooms yet the hall way reaked like a bingo hall and the floor of the elevator was filthy. Also when we arrived just as the people before us the staff had no confirmation of our reservation. This made us late to our meeting.

Not so great

Not so great... the rooms smell of mildew, the toilet was oblong with a round seat on it, light fixture was falling off bathroom wall and overall was dirty and grimey.

Disappointing

Stayed 2 nights. The room did not get cleaned. The bathroom was extremely dangerous. Tub and floor dangerously slippery. Towels were rough and small. The bed was comfortable though.

Overnight stay to view the total eclipse

Pros: price, location, friendliness of personnel
Cons: Add boiled eggs to the continental breakfast offerings.
My family and I stayed 1 night at The Vista Inn and Suites. We had a non-smoking with 2 queen beds room. We were pleased with everything except the low water pressure from the shower (still had plenty of hot water). Yes, the hotel is 30 years old, but the recent renovations help it to not seem so. The beds were comfortable; we slept well. The room furnishings were nice. We appreciated having a small refrigerator. Even though the hotel was full, it was quiet. The continental breakfast was better than I anticipated (make your own waffles, muffins, cereal, juices, apples/bananas). The front desk personnel were great; they were prepared for the influx of people and check-in was quick.

Not bad

Room was older but comfortable. We just needed a room to sleep on long road trip home. Front desk was very nice, breakfast was good. Only think didn't like was bathroom very small. Would stay again as right off highway and plenty food around.
