hosts thought of every little detail

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: no detail left undone
Cons: can't think of a thing. They came in to chat over breakfast and gave us ideas of what to do and see while in Murphys and the surrounding area.
Location: MANY winery tasting rooms and a high number of quality restaurants, given that Murphys is a rather small town.
Arline and Rich had thought of every little detail--a snack bar, snuggly socks, recommendations on best restaurants and things to do. Rich showed us his car collection. Grounds are beautiful. It's smack in the middle of town. Full breakfast upon awaking in the morning, coffee in the room as well as bottled water, and so much more. Hosts were there if you needed them, but very quiet and not at all "hovering" over us. A grand experience.

Best B&B in the foothills

Posted Oct 5, 2012
Pros: The breakfast was phenominal
Cons: There is nothing to report
Location: The town of Murphys is the best kept secret in California. We found a store featuring spices from all over the world.
They have thought of everything to make the satay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The gardens are a treat. The amenities add to the enjoyment. The breakfast was gourmet and catered to our requirements as vegetarians while being fully satisfactory for all

Found a gem

The food and quite comfort of having your own little oasis just off main street was very pleasant.
