“Very helpful reception staff very welcoming and informative. Room was very clean and ready for us. Bar and restaurant staff were also excellent attentive. We had an excellent meal, the bill needed a bit of sorting out as the system had difficulty sorting out the normal menu and the offered special but got there in the end. We were with friends ( who used to be in the hospitality industry) and overall we were impressed. Thank you to all at The Bear we will be back ”

“Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded……

“Excellent self-contained unit 4min walk from Cheltenham Spa Rail Station. Self check-in is easy as Rooms Booked staff will send essential info such as the Entrance door & Unit door codes by 2pm via email or massage to facilitate the check-in process.
Room furniture, while considered old, are in functional condition. Shared bathrooms, however, are modern and clean.
