"Medium" room was too small to get out of bed during the night without being very careful not to bang into the wall-mounted television. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Really good breakfast in the crowded basement dining room - chat to other guests or not, as you wish. Stairs down are really ...

We appreciated excellent, helpful staff and great food at the hotel restaurant. The location, close to Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum as well as Vondelpark, worked just great for us. There's a bus stop nearby and a tram stop rather close, too. The room we were given was quite small but well equipped. ...

Great little hotel in an excellent location. Got a room on the top floor which made it a bit of a challenge up the steep narrow stairs and Wi-fi wasn’t the best up there but room very clean and breakfast more than adequate although would recommend bringing your own milk for your morning cup of tea. ...
It was all perfect. From the building, interior design, staff, bedroom, amenities, food too all types of services provided there.

The facility itself was charming and generally clean and we appreciate the staff accommodating our late arrival and departure, holding our luggage while we were out. Normally a B&B would serve breakfast as part of the overall quoted daily rate - not the case here! They charge an extra fee for breakfast ...
Had the most wonderful stay here - Kim was so helpful and really went above and beyond with nothing too much trouble. She helped with getting around, tickets and trips - and was so flexible when we had some flight difficulties! The room and facilities were excellent - so comfortable, clean and spacious. ...
Loved Amsterdam. Enjoyed our stay, staff friendly and welcoming. Particularly liked the easy links with the Trams into Amsterdam and the information on the Hotel useful. Local bakers and Patisserie very nice and plenty of eateries within easy reach.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Roemer very much. Our family room with a comfortable queen size bed and bunk beds for our kids (age 10 and 12) was just what we wanted and the location (just 5 mins walk from the Van Gogh and Reijksmuseum) was ideal.

I stayed there with my daughter for 3 nights. The room was just as on the photo I saw when I booked it, with a huge window overlooking the park. Very nice breakfast, good cold buffet and hot breakfast, very good value. There were some renovation works being done in the hotel, but as we didn’t spend ...
A lovely hotel with exceptional staff conveniently located in the museum district near trams and buses. Great selection of places to eat as well in a walkable neighborhood, too.

Ideal for our 4 day Amsterdam trip, a few minutes walk from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum and the Concertgebouw, as well as a canal boat trip from by the Rijksmuseum. Hotel was excellent in every way and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
Helpful and pleasant staff. A good location that is only a 20 mins walk away from the centre of Amsterdam. (This short distance makes the hotel a better price). Clean, smart, bright.
Very accommodating and friendly staff, the hotel was clean and very comfortable with good size rooms and upgraded bathrooms. Convenient to #16 Tram Line

Very good for what we paid, excellent location and good services
This hotel has the right balance of price and quality which we haven't been lucky enough to find in our previous two trips. The staff were welcoming, and struck great conversation with guests when passing each other in corridors which gave the stay a personal feel. There are also two cats in the ...
1st time in Amsterdam. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere! But also took the tour with both bus and boat, a must do! So informative and well worth it! The staff were wonderful, so very helpful and knowledgeable! Great suggestions! Hotel was very clean, well appointed and very cozy.
