Night mare not Victory.Posted Sep 29, 2015
Had to change rooms two times. First room wasn't clean. Second room tv did not work. Staff lied and stated it was the Strom however I pointed out other room TV worked. . Third room had blood on end table. I covered it up and made it work. There was smoke smell in hall yet hotel was to be non smoking. The smoke alarm went off when checking in. Staff commented I told them to put a towel under the door.

Great place to stayPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: Lobby, staff, location
Cons: Slightly softer beds
Location: Not far from downtown. Nearby there are a several fast food places, sit-down restaurants, a Wal-Mart and Meijer. Right along several bus routes.
Only a few miles from downtown, safe area, very nice lobby, breakfast and pool areas also nice. Cleanliness of the room is solid but not amazing.

Aging hotelPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Employees were friendly
Cons: Needs to be remodeled
Location: Close to beaches and restaurants
This seems like it may have been a very nice hotel at one time but now needs a little TLC. The carpeting in the room was very worn, the television did not work very well, most channels had a grainy picture and the sound was scratchy. The air conditioner would not stay on all night and it was very stuffy in the room. There was a small light that would not go off in the door of the dresser so that the room was not dark. The air vents in both the bedroom and bathroom had at least an inch of dust. There were black spots along the bathtub. The ice machine did not work on our floor and the elevator stopped/dropped an inch on each floor. The pool was nice but advertised there was a hot tub and we were told they did not have one. Breakfast was very sparse in what was offered.

Did not have the king size room I reserved available, disappointed! No courtesy phone in room had to walk to front desk, bathtub drain was partially clogged. Should have gotten much more for over 100 dollars.

DO NOT STAY HERE... NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IPosted Sep 7, 2015
I "booked" a room with double beds, got there and they were all sold out I was told when you book a room it's just a request doesn't mean you will get it. So it was 4 of us and one bed. Mattress was very worn, dated big box tv that had pictures on very few channels. Extremely small bathroom only room enough to back in and walk out. I did not feel comfortable here at all. The guy at the front desk was very very rude and showed no measure of customer service training

Nice HotelPosted Aug 30, 2015
This is a hotel that definitely needs updates. It's an older hotel. Although it looks fabulas when you walk in, it's a different story when it comes to the hotel rooms. The bathrooms are so small, you have to step in the toilet to get out of the shower. Hahaha. The TV is directly in front of one of two queen size beds making hard to see from the other bed. The light switch when you enter their room didn't work. We found that it was unplugged because the plug it uses was already being used by the fridge & microwave. Also, the hot tub in the public pool area was not working. Lastly, being disabled I was not able the climb the stairs in the lobby to get to the breakfast area. We were told to take the elevator (which there was water all over the floor). Once we got to the cafe area the door was locked with no way to get in. It didn't even have a key card lock on it. We were highly disappointed with the whole breakfast situation!! Overall, I would definitely look around for a different hotel before having to stay there again.

Late Booking for Jazz Festival AccommodationsPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: All told - the price was right. The mini-fridg and microwave was nice.
Cons: New bed pillows, room furniture and cable service is needed. Enhanced training for room cleaning staff and maintenance staff & exterior improvements
Location: Nice location close to resturants and stores.
The exterior of the hotel gave indication that not a lot has been spent on building maintenence (ie. weeds growing in the cracks of the parking lot and missing peices of facade from the building) - a sure sign to check out the room before bring in your luggage. Sure enough, I was moved to ask for another room because the first one I was assigned showed evidence of not being adequately cleaned (looked no further than the crap in the toilet). The second room was better, however the furniture was stained and the wall unit air conditioner was very loud. The elevator made me wonder what was Otis thinking? The cable tv programming seemed to be on a bootleg loop which showed over and over.
