Surprised to find a great value.Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: It was very clean and comfortable to be in and the HVAC was quiet.
Cons: They could turn the mattresses more often (if they are doing it at all). One side of the bed sagged in the middle
Location: On main highway through town. Lots of local and chain restaurants nearby. Close to Downtown & the Beach
I had been aware of this hotel for each of the 32 summers I have spent in Grand Haven. It has always had a neat exterior but I had never been inside. Given the age of the hotel and price I was more than pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, had a comfortable chair and ottoman and had been refreshed sometime in the past couple of years.

It was a descent hotel.Posted Oct 13, 2015
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The beds are in desperate need of replacing. The door did not close completely, could see daylight thru the side of it. Urine smell in bathroom.
Location: It was nicely located to town and the water.
We arrived friday late afternoon and stayed thru sunday. The hotel manager was nicd, quick check in. they put us on the back side of the hotel and on the first floor which was nice since it is hard for my husband to do stairs.

Rooms are fair in size. The location is what made the decision to stay here.

grand havenPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Bed, location, manager
Asked to be placed on back side of hotel and was accommodated. Manager was very nice, allowed us to change our reservation from 4 nights to 2 as there is just not that much to do in Grand Haven. We personally like South Haven much better. Bed was great, husband very happy about this! Nice stay, we were pleased. Thank you!

Nice hotel close to beach.Posted Aug 26, 2015
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Rodeway Motel. It is not the Ritz. But it is clean and served our needs for a stay in Grand Haven, MI.

Nice surprise in Grand HavenPosted Aug 25, 2015 on Hotels
We had a great time at the Rodeway Inn, Grand Haven. The management was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was much better than your average "continental" stale donuts :) Kids loved the freshly made waffles and assortment of their favorite cereals. Coffee was hot and served with real cream. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We will definitely return when at the beach next time!

ok for emergency but wont stay again.Posted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel needs renovating on the outside. This was all I could find so I had no choice. The room was small but clean but very outdated for the price. I won't be going back.
