- Disliked: Amenities
This is not a 5 star property. At best it is three. It was clean and food quality was good but it is very basic and lacked the amenities of what would be considered 5 stars in any developed country. I'd like to say some of the staff were amazing. The lady at breakfast was smiley and helpful and could not do enough for us! Staff by the pool and bar were also very good. Front of house were terrible and Christine in management presented a positive image but had no follow up and really let the property down. Upon check in they tried to charge us a supplemental fee for our son. Nearly 1000 euros! They said it was because he was 15 and not a child (which would have been FOC) and even though I had disclosed the fact of his age when I booked with Expedia that it was hotel policy! Shocking! Extortionate! I refused to pay and told them to take it up with Expedia! Expedia agreed with me after I spent hours on the phone whilst on holiday. The rooms were pokey, they need to congratulate their photographer, on line photos don't look much like the real rooms. despite having paid for the more expensive Deluxe superior room with sea view. We upgraded to a suite, which had more room and a pool for a reasonable price. however after returning late one night we found our sons bed hand not been made and did not have and bed cloths on it! A quick call to reception to resolve the obvious mishap found an uninterested receptionist who simply said "house keeping is closed for the evening!
