Dear Nishant, We appreciate that you did extensive research before choosing Grace Mykonos. Yes, we are blessed by the many fine reviews that we receive from the vast majority of our guests, however, we also appreciate any and all constructive criticism. We are proud to have our Hotel's Facilities, Rooms, and Suites designed with our intricate style and we have allied ourselves with all the neighboring establishments, with a respect to Mykonos architectural style and colors. The Hotel is located in one of the quietest corners of Mykonos island and comes to our surprise your comment about the noise, something that was never mentioned from you during your stay, neither any kind of comment about your dissatisfaction with your room type. Saying that, if you did not wish to have a basic category room type, that you had reserved, we would be more than happy to offer you alternative Suite options of a higher category. In regards to the charge of 1 euro for a bottle of water, as you mentioned, is exactly the price that you will find in many hotels on the island and it is considered to be at a low price for Mykonos standards. Grace Mykonos prides itself on offering a high-quality product and exceptional service to our clients at every price point. Regarding the fact that water from the tap is not drinkable, is something that you can find at most Mediterranean islands and not only in Mykonos. Strict application of all the standard procedures of Health and Hygiene Department has been the number one priority, in order to ensure our guests’ well-being in these challenging times that we are facing. These disinfecting procedures, unfortunately, take a little bit more time than the usual ones and that is why we have arranged our Housekeeping department to clean all the rooms and suites every 2nd day of our Guests’ stay, except, if the Guests, of course, wish their accommodation to be refreshed every single day, something that can be easily arranged by just asking. This information is in written form and is communicated by our good colleagues from the Front Office Department verbally too upon check-in, as Greek Government’s instructions to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, are renewed every single day and we are trying to respectfully follow them. Additionally, please have in mind that, the calls that you made for your room to be refreshed were done in the morning hours between 11:00 – 13:00, which are the most difficult for the Housekeeping Department because we need to prioritize the application of these disinfection procedures of the departed rooms. As you received your room at check-in time, which is at 15:00, we always want to make sure all guests receive their room by the official check-in time. As anyone can see, we have several other less than perfect internet reviews, which we feel are legitimate and we have addressed them promptly and thoroughly, as it only helps us to improve.
