The service here sucks

The room was clean but the service was horrible. The owner was very rude, they take the first night room fee before u check in without authorization early in the a.m, we had no room service and was there for 5 days, and lastly check out is at 10:00 which was hand written in at the front desk. The owner had an bad attitude when i asked for fitted sheets to change myself. I would never ever stay here again. First and last time

I based my stay on reviews of the property, please STAY AWAY from this hotel. I checked in and was hesitant in doing so but after I paid and he directed me to my room I saw this was not what it was supposed to be. There were people sitting on the tops of their cars in front of the rooms. I pulled up in front of my room and was uncomfortable enough to turn around and go to find another hotel. I never even went inside my room, I would have rather stayed in my car overnight than spent one minute in that hotel. I went next door which was a very nice hotel that had a room that they offered me, true I paid an extra amount but I didn't have a problem with that at all. I would not have put my family in danger in the America's best value inn. After I got another room I went back and told the manager that I did not feel safe staying there and he was hesitant to refund my money saying those people were tourists but they allow weekly and monthly rates for some locals. I told him those were not tourists and I was not staying he issued a refund and I gladly left. I base my stays on reviews a lot of times and this hotel was the worse I have seen

There was dead bugs all over! Horrible and argumentative staff! And the bathroom was disgusting i didnt want to set foot in the shower it was yellow with mold.

Location: Myrtle Beach and its surroundings
Lack of breakfast facility is disappointing. Value for your funds being spent, or for a short stay.

The worst business ever in my life I try to book the room than once it was paid for he said he didn't have and king size beds available so I asked for a refund and he wouldn't give it to me it took me four hours just to get a refund.

Cheap thin blankets and flimsy pillows for $180 a night. Would of been ok at $75.

Older Inn

Good location. Very friendly staff. Room could've used a coat of paint. My fiancé killed about 6 small roaches during our 2 night stay. Caused concern about roach/ eggs getting into my luggage. We didn't complain to management at the time cause you get what you pay for sometimes and it wasn't infested. Staff very accommodating. Just an older Inn in need of an exterminator and fresh paint.

It was quiet. I didn't like the smell of the room. Cigarette holes in the blanket, hair on sheets.
