Pretty good

The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the room smelled a little musty. No bugs, good location, clean rooms, hot breakfast not continental, affordable. I would stay here again.

Beach view and great room layout

Pros: Great looking room and very comfortable. Enjoyed the continental breakfast.
Cons: More chairs.
Location: Alligator Adventure.
We loved this room and it was great we were able to get a suite with a full kitchen. A full kitchen is essential when traveling with small children.

Cheap and On the Beach but Would Never Recommend

Pros: It was only $70/night (early March), steps to the beach, bed was reasonably comfortable, and the coffee at breakfast was good.
Cons: Many things -- see first section above.
Location: Right on the beach, an Irish pub a couple blocks away.
Our room was in the Annex, a few buildings up from the main hotel. It was an old facility, really only suitable for college students or a couple wanting a very cheap hotel on the beach. Think of it as a step down from "no frills." Parking in front was awkward (and not very safe) so that guests have to back all the way out onto the main street. Inside the bathroom was small and the sink was the tiniest we'd ever seen in a bathroom - nearly impossible to use. The TV broadcast was very poor on the first night, with audio and video breaking up. It was a little better other nights so I assume it's satellite service but still low resolution. The heat/aircon unit was VERY loud, making it difficult to sleep. The pillows was mushy and either very cheap or old (or both) and one had an odd smell. To top it all off, during our five night stay, two days in a row the room was not serviced even though we were gone all day long.

Very disappointed with the 1st floor room.

Overall, the experience was a good one; however, when checking in and being assigned a 1st floor room we had no idea that the oceanfront view would be obstructed by a wall and palm trees. We didn't ask for a 1st floor room and would have preferred one on an upper level but, as we stayed one night only, we didn't ask if the floor could be changed. Next time I will know to specify no 1st floor room.

The room had,a moldy and chemical smell. It was,so bad,that I did not spend a second night that i had paid for. The bed and chairs were beyond uncomfortable.

All the staff members were kind and very accommodating... the kitchen and breakfast crew were so friendly. .it was a great stay
