Good for the price.

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: The Bed and Breakfast.
Cons: Need an elevator and the pool in the center need to be closed at 10:30 PM. too much noise.
Location: Everything from shopping to food is real close.
Great Sleeping bed. Don't stay on the side where there is know elevator. Unless you want your exercise. Breakfast was good. Had to call house keeping to clean room on the next day. But overall it was a good stay.

Furniture in room

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: We were on the first floor with immediate access to the beach without having to wait on elevators.
Cons: The wait time for checking in. We had to wait 20 minutes before getting into our rooms. The hotel was short of staff.
Location: Shopping and restaurants
The sofa bed in our room smelled horrible!! This was the only problem we experienced. This piece of furniture needs to be replaced before the next guest accommodate the room. It was room #2105

Exterior looks nothing like the Expedia pictures

Posted Apr 19, 2017
This is a three story motel on a busy road, not sure where the "cottages" are? I showed the front desk the images on my reservation because I thought I was in the wrong place! The woman at the desk got very defensive and said she is not responsible for third party reservations. Geeez welcome to the beach! Since I was there for one night I wasn't arguing but I did think I was paying for a cottage near / on the beach! The other front desk staff were snippy, fast taking and grouchy as well, not too welcoming. Good thing I'm from NJ and can handle that attitude! The beach is across a busy street and parking is tight. The pool is nice but close to the road and the furniture is worn. The motel room was clean but we had no towels. Breakfast was decent but you better bring your ticket because they check! If you like this sort of college beach scene, this would be a fine place to stay, lots of t shirt shops and fast food.

A Cottage Near the Beach

Posted Mar 22, 2017
Pros: Space, especially living room.
Cons: Showers, provide enough towels from the beginning.
Stayed in one of the yellow cottages in behind the main property, with a family group of five. Lots of room, and a good kitchen. Towels were lacking when we arrived. Three bedrooms and a living room, each with a TV. Beds are good. Bathroom facilities could be somewhat updated.

Nice Hotel

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Booked a Sunday to Wednesday trip Mar 12-15. I inquired about staying an additional night in the same Ocean front room. Was told there was lots of availability but the rate would be increased by approx. $75. As a long time customer was extremely disappointed in the take it or leave attitude

The location of this hotel is great.

Posted Mar 18, 2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Just the bathrooms
Location: Location is perfect. No view of the water.
We enjoyed the location and the breakfast is very good with a variety of things to choose from. After breakfast we walked across the road to the beach. The room was clean but the bathroom could use a little updating and its small. It was nice. We would stay again.

A Comfortable Family Facility

Posted Mar 7, 2017
Pros: Easy access to beach, pool facilities, room comfort.
Cons: No elevators to third floor rooms, causes a problem to lug stuff.
Location: Walk to the beach.
We enjoyed our stay. Temperatures were cool so we did not get to use the inviting outdoor pool. Beds were good, and room was very good. Generally clean facilities, and staff seemed anxious to please. Breakfast area was crowded, and it was hard to find a table at 8:30 am. Breakfast offerings were good, particularly every other day with the cinnamon buns on offer. Coffee was good quality. Will come again.

DISAPPOINTING

Posted Mar 4, 2017
Pros: Most of the Staff
Cons: Just about everything
Location: Close to everything
I am not going to go on and on just give you the Highlights of our 10 Night stay: The Bad - Had to call on two separate days (late day) for them to come and makeup our room (they forgot) really?; - Had to call almost every day because the cleaner forgot to leave something or clean something,(towels, coffee/tea, take out Garbage, etc.) - Four days in to our stay was informed they had no Tea for my wife....never did see any Tea for the rest of our stay 6 Nights more; - Safe was not bolted down instead was placed in the bottom of the end table beside the bed so, not secure/usable; - appliances are very dated as is the entire décor of the room other then the Bathroom; - The Hotel shares a parking lot with low budget Hotel which is frequently visited by Police and ambulance if you get my meaning; - Air conditioner has no defuser on it and is positioned in a way that if you are laying in bed you will freeze when it comes on during the night; - No pen or Paper in the room the entire stay. THE REAL BAD Never, and I mean Never, have I ever not received a wakeup call when requested. Guess what? On the day we were leaving we needed to get out of the Beach area before rush hour. The call never came which made our trip home not as nice as it should have been sitting in traffic on the 501. Bottom line there is better for the same money in Myrtle Beach.

Nice for a weekend away

Posted Jan 21, 2017
Though you can tell by the outside of the building that it is an older hotel, it has been nicely updated in all parts. Parking was a breeze and breakfast was very nice. Staff was welcoming. Overall, we would go back!
