Didn't have any ant spray

Pros: I didn't like anything about the hotel.
Cons: Put up an online photo that isn't as misleading. Inform residents that the hotel is across the street from the ocean.
Location: I was very disappointed that the hotel was across the street from the ocean.
Booked using Expedia and ended up paying more per night than I would have spent per night at a Ritz Carlton hotel. As a matter of fact, I have never spent this much on any hotel I have ever stayed. The hotel is across the street from the ocean. There is no valet, no housekeeping, no restaurant, no room service, the front desk closes after a certain hour, security wasn't seen. There were ants throughout my room and crawling on me. The smell of smoke was also in the room. The elevator is not air conditioned. The online photo of the illuminated hotel is VERY misleading.

There wasn't daily maid service, but there was a washer and dryer in the room as well as a full kitchen. It was convenient to everything. Broadway at the Beach is at the same major crossroad just a couple of miles away as well as Nascar Speedpark. The hotel is on Ocean Blvd, just at the northern end. They have a pool, which was on the same floor we were on (the 6th) which was very convenient. We have small children and it was nice not to have to use the elevator to go to the pool. The elevators were VERY slow though. Sometimes we waited 5 or 10 minutes. We tried to park on level 5 so that we could easily take the stairs one flight and not have to mess with the elevator. There is convenient public beach access right across the street, so you can easily walk with no problem at all. We did only get a one bedroom and should have gotten 2 because the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. So, if you need 2 beds, I would recommend getting 2 bedrooms. Overall the stay was good and I think we would stay there again, just with more real beds. They do try to make you listen to one of those time share talks, but don't pressure you. We were able to get out of it with little argument.

Some friends and myself stayed here for spring break. Our room was on the top floor. Overall quality of our 3-bedroom villa was exceptional. The parking spaces were a little skinny for a fullsize car, but it wasn't anything a little maneuvering couldn't take care of. Earlier in the day it was possible to park in the main garage. Later in the evening, it was almost guaranteed the main garage would be full. The second parking garage is located directly behind the hotel, easily located, plenty of parking. My biggest complaint about the trip was the elevators. One of them got locked at our floor; we hopped in and pushed a floor number, the doors closed, 5 seconds later they opened on the same floor. In order to get the elevator to move, we had to go down one floor and call it from there. Overall, I was very impressed with the location and quality of the Carolina Grande.

We are defanatly going back to this hotel next year. Awsome stay. And what a view of the ocean!!
