This was the best place to stay at Myrtle Beach especially if you are looking for family oriented environment. Unlike ocean view hotels they are loud and not restful. This hotel is right across from broadway at the beach.

The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was a 10 am checkout and lack of breakfast options (the ones there are insanely expensive too!!!)

Returned to our room late afternoon to discover housekeeping only occurs every other day in a less than professional manner. Not mentioned at check in which seems like it would be standard operating procedure. Staff at front desk need to trained in customer service. Sunday am attendant was on point and professional.

During our stay, we felt safe & comfortable. Our room was located near an elevator but it was very quiet and no disturbances. We appreciated most of all the Gideon's Bible in our room!

We chose this property due to its 8.2 good rating. What we found was that it needed to be much lower than that. It was easy to find, location was great, parking was nice and convenient. Took a turn when we entered, first the back door would not close to the hotel. Room carpet felt very damp. No trash bags in trash cans. Fridge was dirty. To top it off, went to pull out sofa bed for my 5 year old and 2 roaches ran out! Hotel shows it’s age but there’s a difference between old and just filthy. They moved our room. 2nd room, still no trash bags in trash cans which I find odd. TV did not work. By this time it was late when we had arrived so we were exhausted from traveling and just wanted a good nights sleep. Were told we could leave immediately for a full refund but again, sleepy 5 year old, town we were not familiar with, 10:30 at night looking for a hotel not in our best interest.AC took until 4 am to cool the room. The room carpet was even more damp than the first room. Woke up bright and early to get on out of there and had to use the shower to brush our teeth as there was no water coming from the sink. Front desk help early morning was helpful and we were told the GM would call us. Crickets … Thankfully, Expedia was very helpful! Run far from this place. I emptied all of our things outside of our home in case we brought home roaches. PS we did not get our good nights sleep because of worrying about bugs, why the carpet was so damp etc …

The front desk agent was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. We had a bunch of flight changes and ended up getting to the hotel at 8:15am check in was not until 3. I think she could sense our exhaustion and gave us a room as soon as we checked in. It was clean, a nice pool, comfy beds and right across from Broadway at the beach!

Bathrooms need some serious updates. In room 302, looks like the tub/shower was painted. Why are there no plastic bags in garbage cans? Kind of disgusting!
