Pros: room waqs nice
main pool closed area under construction had I known this I would not have booked it seventeen dollar fee was charged but later retuned Monday went to another hotel

I like but me like jacuzzi and dont has in this for the others tinks is ok.

Room was not facing ocean. Could not hear waves.

Pros: Beds and pillows very comfortable.
Cons: I like a room facing ocean so I can hear ocean at night while sleeping. Too far from ocean.
Location: We went to Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood for dinner, Bass Pro Shop, and Myrtle Beach Speedway. About 20 to 30 minutes away.
I thought my room would be facing ocean and a lot closer to the ocean. Instead you had to view the ocean from an angle because the hotel is in a horseshoe shape and our room was facing other rooms across the way.I like to open the balcony door and sleep to the sound of the waves. Could not hear ocean, too far. Room was nice and beds and pillows very comfortable. It was the second hotel going into Myrtle Beach which made it very quiet. Had a private pier with a band while we were there. Prefer a hotel further into Myrtle Beach, less driving that way. Accomodations were good and room was clean. Very quiet, no noise.

Nice area of S. Myrtle Beach. I would go back. Rooms were clean and newly renovated.

Return Springmaid trip

Pros: We like to stay there because it is on the quiet south end (other than the airport).
Cons: PARKING, PARKING, PARKING!
Location: You have to walk or drive several blocks to get to anything (not a bad thing).
WE have stayed at Springmaid 5 times in the past. My biggest complaint every time is PARKING!!!!!!! It is terrible. Another bad experience this year no better. We call the front desk 3 times to get more cups and another pillow. Never got any of the items. Bring your own cups. Bad experience this year.

Unfortunate but pleasing

Pros: Rooms and how they were situated ocean view.
Cons: Definitely more outdoor tables and chairs around existing water/pool areas. A shuttle into town considering this was at the southern part of town.
Location: The pier is a great feature and the water attractions on site are nice for a younger family. That's about it.
It was unfortunate that a major area was under construction that involved the main pool area. Because it was so hot, the pool would have been a welcomed relief. This also included the main dining area. The rooms were great and so was the staff.

Pros: location and pier
shower, no tub. showerhead mounted on flexable tube was very difficult to use and control..drain in shower was clogged with hair causing shallow "tub" to overflow. lamp in room beside bed needed repair to work....onsite restaurant (Marlin) was closed and under construction...this was not mentioned when making reservations. have stayed here before and will be coming back mainly because of pier.

dirty and unkept

dirty rooms and overall poor condition pools dirty and lack of hotel service- never cleaned room at all would not stay again
