“The staff at the hotel was wonderful and the beach was great. Chairs for rent was a plus on the beach in front of hotel Food was good at the hotel. The actual hotel is old but rooms have been updated somewhat. No daily cleaning service. The area in front and around the hotel was busy. I would not let my teenagers walk around after dark but there are plenty of places to uber too. Pools and lazy river are small and a little cloudy.”

“The property was well maintained and clean. The key card mechanisms on each door were broken so we had to ask the front desk to let us into our room every time we came and went. That is the only grievance.”

“Very nice property great location , excellent if traveling with kids they will enjoy all the pools and beach access. Downside is you do have to get your own towels for the room (and the pool) they do have a strict room cleaning service days/ time so if you happen to need anything in between very difficult to get your room serviced. Over all nice property! We did enjoy it”

“My husband and I celebrated at 21st anniversary. It was an amazing experience. The room was clean. The view was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place.”

“Clean room, easy parking”

“For a budget hotel right on the beach, Tropical Sea hotel was a good stay for 2 nights. The room itself was tidy. Beds were a little firm but slept well enough and had clean sheets with no signs of bugs. It has two pools and a hot tub, all of which were functional and clean during our stay. And it was quiet, the sound proofing in our room, a partial view, was quite good. If I had to leave a criticism, it would be that the elevator can be very slow at times, but it always came around eventually.……

“"Ocean view" is a view of the parking lot. Apparently, if you want to have a room on the ocean you need to look for "ocean front". The toilets are very hard to flush and require multiple flushes. Could not open the patio door unless two people pushed (We are not weak). There was blood on the white comforter.”
