Great upon arrival and took an unfortunate turn!

Location: It was close to the beack and about 20-30 minutes from most main attractions which was great!
When we first entered the hotel, everything was great! The presentation was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. When we entered the room we were very pleased! Everything seemed so clean but, once we turned the bed down we IMMEDIATELY seen the sheets were dirty. There were tons of hairs on the sheets and the and fitted sheet looked as if it had been slept on. When I called the front desk I was told by the same woman that checked us in that she was busy and I could come and get them or wait for a while to bring them up. Once I waited for 30 min for the sheets I went downstairs and was told that she needed to get them from storage bc they were a sold out hotel. She never once apologized! She brought them to the room and handed them to me and told me she would tell maintenance what happened. I travel allot and this is one of the WORST experiences I've had. We went here for my 40th birthday and paying $300+ for a two night stay is ridiculous for this sort of treatment. When we checked out, no one asked how our stay was - only stated 'you used Expedia so you are free to go.'

Wasn't told til after booked that the hotel was under renovations. No breakfast available except cold muffins and coffee. Reason we stay at Hampton inn. Only given $6 credit from hotel bill. Was not posted on Expedia site.

The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was wonderful. The pool was closed during our trip. We would stay again and call to make sure it is open next time.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing Labor Day weekend at Hampton Inn Habourgate. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast was delicious. Thanks to Denise for replenishing the breakfast items. Friendly staff, great location - will definitely visit again.

The hotel is currently under renovation which is good. Our room was very nice in size, however the room was too big for the small air conditioning system and it was very warm inside. To fix this problem maintenance put a window fan in the room to help circulate the air. It helped a little,but not enough to prevent me and my wife from sweating at night. To say that this is an Hampton Inn hotel, I expected better quality. The staff was nice and tried to relocate us in another room, but was told by maintenance that the other room has the same problem. They did however rewarded us with a complimentary night stay.
