Disappointed with Expedia

Will not use Expedia again to schedule a hotel stay. Could not receive my hotel perk points because the stay was scheduled through Expedia instead of through Holiday Inn directly. The hotel was excellent, though!

Relaxing stay close to it all

Easy check-in and friendly, courteous staff. Beautiful setting overlooking harbor. Room very clean and well appointed.

Just don't expect too much

Pros: clean room
Cons: repair broken appliances, replace light bulbs
Location: right in North Myrtle Beach, only 15 minutes or so from Myrtle Beach proper
this is closer to a 2-2.5 star hotel. Our room was clean and smelled fine, but many things need fixing. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, making the entire room humid after a shower. There were several lights that needed to be replaced. The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn't work. There was a dead cicada in the hotel entryway for a couple of days before the cleaning crew got to it.

Excellent place to stay

We really liked our stay in the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find. The lady at the reception was very friendly and pointed us to a restaurant right next to the hotel. Afterwards we could easily walk around the marina. Very relaxing. The room was excellent and there were lots of pillows on the beds. Unfortunately we had to leave too early to get breakfast but the general area looked nice. There was also sufficient parking around the hotel. We will stay here again when we get back to Little River.

Great Stay!!!

This hotel was great! Joy at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming, we saw her several times during our stay as we passed through the lobby. The breakfasts were fresh with plentiful choices and set up with an appealing lay out. The eating area was large and offered a view of the marina. The housekeeping staff members were cordial and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Our Hotels.com booking was adhered to perfectly. This will definitely be our hotel of choice in the area.

Don't eat breakfast there.

Pros: Clean, Helpful, Quiet
Cons: Fix the ceiling in the breakfast area. There is a big hole in the ceiling.
Location: Beaches and restaurants were near.
The hot food wasn't hot and no microwave to heat it up. Food leftover was used the next day. No potatoes, no bacon or boiled egg. The cinnamon rolls were hard on the bottom. The rest of the hotel was great. The food was way below par.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry if our breakfast was not what you expected. This certainly is not the comments we normally receive from guests. We do apoligize about the damage on the breakfast room ceiling, however it was under repair at that time.
