Easy checkin

Our room was ready by 2pm and we were able to check in with no problem! Thanks will definitely stay here again for our weekend get away!

A Nasty Hotel - So Disappointed

Pros: The bathroom had "hot" water. Staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: Thoroughly clean hotel. Don't allow dog owners access to all rooms, but isolate them to rooms in rear and don't allow them in dining/common areas.
Location: Beach and restaurants were in walking distance.
Hotel room had cockroaches and was not clean. There was hair on the carpet and the bed linen did not smell clean. Dogs were allowed in many rooms throughout the hotel and not just isolated to a certain area of the hotel. While having breakfast, a leashed dog came through the lobby and "pooped" and the owner kept walking. One of the hotel staff cleaned it up. Hotel staff had to tell some dog owners not take their dogs in the dining area. Dogs were barking during the night, and some of them look "dirty/sick/diseased". Frankly, it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I respectfully request a refund or at least credit toward a better hotel in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that you encountered problems during your stay. Being pet friendly has its challenges especially when the pet owners do not take care of their pet and do not follow the rules. They sign a pet agreement that states the dos and don'ts. We do try to keep the pets in a certain area of the hotel but it is hard to do especially when we are not aware that the guest brought a pet. Again, I am extremely sorry. Sincerely,

Close too beach but nasty rooms

The hotel was in a good location. Was able to reach the beach and other attractions in 5min. The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast wasn't to bad. However the bathroom was dirty, hair all over the floors. There was stains on the mattress and sheets. The housekeeping staff did not clean our room when we left out for the day, we had to flag someone down in the hall to vacuum the floor in our room and to give us towels and bath cloths. I don't think I'll be staying there again. We was looking for a deal and you get what you pay for.

The hotel is close to attractions

Pros: I like that the hotel was close to the attractions of Myrtle Beach
Cons: The hotel rooms needs to be updated.
Location: Broadway at the beach about 4 minutes away. The main strip is about 6 minutes away, although there is the beach a block over. Putt Putt Golf
The hotel staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was good.

Find a Nicer place to stay

Pros: Friendly staff. Close drive to things
Cons: Furnishings, control of smoking (maybe change it to floor by floor?), overall upgrade
Location: close to most things, but still a drive. I would not walk from here
Room was old, looked dirty and furnished poorly. Air conditioner was noisy, neighbors were noisy. Room smelled of smoke - horribly --hallways smoky even though I requested non smoking. Shower slippery. shower curtain was in toilet when I arrived. Door sticky. All but one staff were nice, helpful and friendly. This hotel is in a not so nice neighborhood and in bad need of upgrading.

Pros: Clean close to beach
Cons: More amenities such as hot tub an indoor pool
Location: Mini golf an walmartgrocery center right down the street.
Very pleased. Reasonable price an clean The beds could be updated. They were comfortable except they sagged in the middle.

Pros: Staff, location to beach, location to restaurants/shopping, pet friendly
We were greeted by roaches within 1hr of being in the room. While the staff did immediately switch our room, one can only assume if one room has roaches, certainly, there are roaches in other rooms. Especially, if the new room is only a few doors down. Seeing roaches makes for a very uncomfortable stay where you cannot unpack your bags, eat in the room, or have snacks sitting out. This is tough to do with 3 small kids. Hotel staff was nice enough. I would think housekeeping staff would want to do a complete clean of each room every day knowing roaches and ants are an issue. Each day we had to ask for a vacuum bc that step of cleaning was skipped. The fact that the hotel is pet friendly is great.

Not really happy with the treatment I deserved

I am in the hospitality industry. My standards tend to be a little higher. However, a lack of caring is not acceptable no matter where you work. Room stunk. We weren't told we would be in a smoking room. So all night I worried that I would be accused of smoking in the room. TV didn't work. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told she was working the breakfast but that she would call. Two hours later we were getting ready to check out and had still not heard from the manager. I asked the front office clerk for compensation for a future stay. She said because I booked through a third-party, Expedia, that she could do absolutely nothing. She didn't apologize or seem to care in the least. That is why I will never return to this property or this brand again.

Get what you PAY for.

This hotel was just what me and my wife was looking for,a quick getaway. The hotel was ok no frills kinda thing. The breakfast was bland,but for the price what do you expect. I would return but only for a quick stay.
