This was a very nice trip- clean room, convenient location, wonderful employees. All was great except our room kept wreaking of cigarette smoke. Its supposed to be non-smoking but someone wasnt compliant and just plain rude!!

The check-in agent at the Front Desk was not friendly or wrlcoming. She knows no representation 9f the brand . She continues to addres me as "Dear" after repeating my last name to her several times very unprofessional ... she did not mentioned the amenities of property to me but did to the guests before and after me ( the sterorype of Third party reservation ) . As former DOF of Starwood hotels. She needs training knowing that the check-in experience is extremely vital to any hotel.

The staff were amazing. We were checked in by Shawn and he was very pleasant and helpful in answering questions we had about the attractions across the street from the hotel. Even when our room key did not work initially, he was more than willing to assist us! The hotel was not well kept. The elevator had trash in it for hours. Our room was also not very clean. There was a used washcloth on the lamp next to the bed. I always bring Lysol and Clorox wipes to do my own cleaning of the bathroom before use and I’m glad I did because it had not been cleaned very well. There were stains on the sink and in the bathtub. My husband complained about the bed being very uncomfortable. Because we were on only staying for two days, we made the best of the situation, but we will not return to this hotel again.

Walls are paper thin so you can hear conversations in next room. Very noisy! We stayed two nights and were awakened both nights around 3:00 AM by neighboring rooms - loud talking and offensive language. No maid service. No replenishing of supplies so if you needed more towels or TP you had to request at front desk. Breakfast was very limited and a lot of the items were out and not replenished. Hotel is close to Broadway on the Beach so that was a plus and there was no noise from traffic or Broadway on the Beach only from hotel guests.

Shower dripped all nite. Tub looked dirt,but i think its worn out. Bottom of bathroom door looked like it had gotten wet and was rotting. Hair in tub from previous guests.

All of our beds had craters in the middle of them, as if they haven’t been changed in years. One bed even had food crumbs UNDER the covers. Showers/tubs were not clean either.

Immediately, after checking in, I noticed how dirty the common area was. The carpet in the hallway was filthy. When I got to the room and use the bathroom, it was obvious there had been a flood as the bottom of the bathroom doors were all delaminating. Pieces of the lower wall were coming apart. The television didn’t work. When I went to the front desk and asked them to have someone fix the television, I was given a phony story that all of their televisions reset every morning and that I needed to go back back to the room, unplug the television and plug it back in so it would work. I did that and it still wouldn’t turn on. Finally, I went back to the desk and requested my money back as we were leaving. We did not stay the night. I would not go back and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

I like that the restaurants was within walking distance of the hotel. Also the hotel decor was beautiful. Continental breakfast was good, I would have liked for them to have the option of cold water or cranberry juice to drink as well besides the apple and orange juice. Other than that my stay was lovely.
