Outdated, unappealing rooms

Check in was ok. I knew to expect to pay the "resort fee". But after check in things went downhill from there. Parking is in a parking deck across the street. The lower level has a height of 6'11". The upper floors are 6'8", if you have a lifted vehicle or a higher vehicle it won't fit. I spent a while circling around hoping someone would leave. Then I found out they have 3 parking spots for higher vehicles however again they were usually taking by a prius or small car. Once headed to the room, we discovered this is definitely not a resort. The elevator is outdated and old. The rooms are independently owned by apparent retirees, the door to our room was cracked and peeling with a fresh coat of paint trying to cover the run down door. Once inside the furnishings were old and the tv was about a 13 in flat screen. The view was probably the only good thing about the room. Half the light switches did not work, there were no bulbs in the lamps. The balcony door did not fully shut and neither did the main door. Being near the elevator we heard every conversation that occured during the night outside. Then at checkout, which is 10, their internet was "down" so they could not check me out and give me a receipt. Waiting for my credit card bill to see if i was charged extra.

close to the beach and within walking distance

Pros: nice and comfy
Location: restaurents-mini putt-beach-
within walking distance-we parked our vehicle when we arrived and did not take it out until it was time to leave

Ocean View suite

Good experience overall.However room was not quite as advertised balcony view was facing parking lot and resort next door could only see ocean from an angle or side view.

Terrible experience

The Patio door was not secure, semen was on the bedding, dirty clothes were left in the room

Great Hospitality

Side ocean view suite Staff & room was great spacious clean and also very comfortable for me and the kids enjoyed The inside and outside pool will definitely come again also free DVD rentals

A good place to avoid

It was an unpleasant experience from start to finish. When we arrived, the girl at the counter sent us to the wrong room. The hotel picture looks like some ultra modern luxury place. It is an old dump of a place wedged between to other hotels. Housekeeping was inadequate. The furniture was very uncomfortable. If someone asked me to design an less comfortable bed, I would not be able to do so without incorporating nails and barbed wire. When we tried to check out early the lobby was locked. After five minutes of banging on the door a security guard helped us to check out.

Nice Hotel close to the beach.

I had to catch a flight that morning and I could not get into the lobby. It was 6:55am so I left and called 4 times over two days to get my receipt for expenses. I called the guy who opened on 3-13 and he said he would email my receipt and he did not. I called end of day in the evening and the same thing from a young lady; and she did not. I called the afternoon of the 14th and a gal said she would email me the receipt and she did not. I called her back in the evening and she emailed me the receipt. She said she could not find my name in the afternoon but she did in the evening. She finally helped me out. Your staff needs to follow through on what they say they will do and customers do not need to worry after they leave your place. Unless they were all super busy because of hotel demand?

We never saw the maids. We had to call down to the front office to get new towels and to get our trash emptied. In all of my experience with hotels I will never stay here again.

It was so filthy we didn’t stay there.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything including how you had to go outside through a side door to get to the elevators as they don’t want you going through the lobby.
Room was nasty, couch was grimy and the tv didn’t have but one channel. Room was horrible so we left....when we went to find another hotel everyone said they knew that about that hotel. Couldn’t understand why it was even on your website as a place to stay. We are requesting are money back. We got the extra money they charged when we got there back by the manager who wouldn’t even come out of his office.
