Enjoyed our stay for the most part. Room was nice and clean. New moulding and faucets in tub. Water in the shower ran cold the first day but no problems after. We had a conjoined room though and the family next door let their kid play with the conjoining door. They were pretty noisy, yelling and slamming doors often. They came in the day before we left so we dealt with it. Hot tub, lazy river and tiki bar were great all except the mass volume of screaming kids during peak time on Saturday. We’ll likely look for a higher scale place with less kids around next time we visit MYB. This is a great place for budget-conscious families. Not adult couples.

When we went to our room, the beds were made, but the beds were dirty. There was trash beside the small refrigerator. We left the room went straight back to the office unsure of whether we were going to have to drive back home or not. we spoke to the manager who is very nice. She got on the phone and found us another room in which we stayed.

The indoor pool amenities were excellent. Outdoor pool was under repair the week we were there in March 2024. Room was very large and excellent. Carpet was dated

The property was under construction when we got there. No use of outdoor pool, it was empty and covered with a tarp. They were painting the outside of the hotel, sanding the balconies (hence it was closed to our room) for two days. They painted the indoor pool area, wet paint, had to be cautious and it smelled. The outdoor patio was closed, restaurant as well. The only restaurant was open for breakfast and 7-10am. Sometimes opened for lunch, not advertised! Did not have water for a few hours on the Wednesday. Communication was terrible. Nothing was online about any of this and worse yet, never mentioned any of this at check in.

Much construction at hotel. Beach not easily accessible due to construction in pool area. Was awoken at 8 AM on a Monday morning by construction in room next door. There no notice from front office.

We went for New Years 23/24 weekend. Not crowded, nice view of the ocean. Room was clean but not updated. Front desk and service was very friendly and helpful.

Great stay.
The hotel was really clean. The room was above average, not basic. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular. My only issue is that there's very little parking on-site and difficult for mobility impaired guests.
