Holiday stay

1 of the rooms, the air was not working and some of the appliances were broken. 1 of the managers was not polite to my clients

The hotel was nice and in a great location

Pros: The quiet and beachfront access
Cons: Restaurant and housekeeping
Location: Nothing was close by, you had to rent a car and drive
The Prince Resort was in a very quiet section of North Myrtle Beach, the rooms were decent and well priced. The resort was quiet and the only issues were inconsistent housekeeping and the on site restaurant was only open for breakfast, no lunch, and then only Friday & Saturday nights with limited offerings for dinner. There was nothing close by that you could walk to other than a beachfront cafe which was below average and loud. No shopping was nearby either. The hotel staff was very nice but housekeeping was pretty hit and miss, I would stay there again, but if I could find something in that area that had a bit more to offer, I would go elsewhere.

First time staying at the Prince Resort!

Pros: Our room was excellent.
Cons: the only thing was in the hallway going to our room , there was a area that had a musky smell to it.
Location: the area is not loud, steps away from the beach, and the fishing pier. short distance to grocery store.
There are so many choices and after checking hotels/resorts and reading reviews. I decided my family would stayed at Prince Resort. EXCELLENT CHOICE !! We stayed in Tower 2 and our room was great. We look forward to returning.

Disappointing-- Pools were closed without notice

We stayed in tower 2 from April 1-8. We splurged on a large corner room and loved the extra space. The large windows and larger balcony were amazing. We also had a crib delivered for our baby without hassle. The room was exactly as described. We were extremely disappointed that 3 out of 4 pools were closed without notice. The pools were supposed to reopen March 22(as it said on expedia's website)-- but they were closed for our entire stay. We booked this hotel because of the pools and lazy river. We would have stayed at a different place if we knew this in advance. It was disappointing spending a week there without being able to use the pools in our building (especially the lazy river).

We do try to schedule these improvements in the off season and we did have many setbacks with the weather on this project. We understand that not having that 9th floor pool deck and lazy river can leave you feeling like you have missed something and we made sure that our pools in Tower 1 were up and running. We think that you will really see that this project was worth it when you see the new pool deck on your visit back to see us.

Kinda expensive
