Great location within walking distance to area events. Close to food and refreshments. Indoor and outdoor pool. Hotel has a small gift shop.

March break getaway. The building is a bit dated, but the staff more than made up for it. Location is great. Very pleasant stay.

Only one person at checkin/checkout counter.Posted Feb 26, 2018
Went to hotel early to ask to look around. We were told that check-in was at 4 pm in a somewhat rude manner. There was only one person at the front desk for check-in and check out. Waited in line for quite some time to check-in about 4:30 pm. Got to room thirsty and there were no glasses or plastic cups. Also went to heat something up in the microwave and sparks started. Looked inside and the microwave was rusted out on the inside in numerous places. So called front desk. They said they would send some cups up and have microwave checked out. After waiting over an hour er left to go eat.

Nice multi-building hotel on the beach at PavilionPosted Jan 9, 2018
Pros: We've stayed multiple times and each time was very good. Not a 4 star hotel, but a good, clean hotel with great staff, well maintained.
Cons: With the setup they have with 3 buildings with amenities dispersed in the buildings, I'm not sure what can be improved.
Enjoyable stay even though the weather was very cold the week we were there 12/26/17 to 1/1/18. Couple of minor issues with room when we arrived, but they were fixed immediately upon reporting them. We were there to relax and we did. Has most of the amenities you look for, but not an onsite restaurant. They do have a snack bar/coffee shop/ice cream shop. But several restaurants within walking distance. Free parking is convenient and there is a free parking deck a half block in front of the hotel. Very convenient to downtown and the Pavilion area. Always the best rate whenever I check rates for hotels of this quality, and I give it a B+. Not 4 star by any means, but nice, comfortable, clean and quiet with a very good and friendly staff.

Oceanfront Hotel Spacious RoomsPosted Nov 30, 2017
This is the second time that we’ve stayed at Sandcastle at the Pavillion. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms looked refreshed and clean this year with newer paint. The Queen Suite we stayed in was perfect for a family of 4 as it had 2 queen beds and a kitchen area that led to a family room with a Murphy bed and TV. This ensured peace and privacy when the kids wanted to sleep early. The balcony views (such as the sun rise) were breathtaking and the beach was right outside our room! There aren’t a lot of extras at this hotel like room service, drinks, etc.

These were some of the friendlies staff members ever would highly recommend this hotel. We had a set of 3 rooms for our school group attending a Pow wow in the area.
