Very nice location.

I booked Thursday for a Saturday & Sunday night stay. I booked through Expedia - and that was a mistake. When I called the hotel (using the number in Expedia's information for the hotel), someone with a high-pitched voice and thick accent answered the phone - her voice was bouncy and melodic as she spoke, but she either didn't really understand what I was saying or she didn't care. She told me that the hotel would have to cancel my reservation because they don't accept locals, then she dumped my call on someone at the hotel - by this time I was ready for a fight. The guy I talked to (I don't remember his name) did a pretty good job explaining the situation - they don't rent to actual locals; people living in the same city, while I live about 100 miles away. We enjoyed a little laugh at Expedia Customer Service's expense, and that was that. I really liked the hotel - it wasn't perfect, but I'd say the price I paid was quite reasonable - no buyer's remorse here.
The big bedroom had a nice view of an amusement park across the street and a balcony - this room got a little noisy on Saturday night because of the locals cruising up and down the main drag, but it wasn't bad and it ended around 1AM. The smaller bedroom (not small, just smaller) had no balcony and was quieter than the big room - our 3 month old slept in this room quite peacefully. Both rooms have good sized bathrooms. The kitchen/living room area was very nice with a balcony that points at an angle toward the beach.
