Overall was good! The staff was helpful and the hotel was clean! The only drawback is that the hotel doesn’t have any coffee/food areas. Even though they offered coffee from 7:00-10:00 I felt a coffee shop at the hotel would be a good and convenient addition to the facility!

Great location but the room we got was outdated . Furniture was very old and the balcony was very dirty and seems like was not cleaned in a long time . Hot tub was not cleaned when we were there. Some staff members was very friendlier but some of them not much .

I love how affordable and clean the resort was. I disliked the lack of restaurants in the resort. I also dislike the across the street parking, not very convenient,because i had to leave the hotel for everything.

We stayed at the Sandy Beach Resort for a week. It was as an above average experience overall. The customer service was below average to poor for the people I encountered from front desk to some room cleaners. We have two straight days where no one came to our room to empty trash or check on towels, linen or tissue. One cleaner was even rude to my wife when we simply asked if she could empty our piled up trash. When I went to management on the Monday after a second straight day of this the front desk was nonchalant and said they have people that work on different floors and should be there by 4pm. It was the afternoon already and no one came again that day. However, the final 3-4 days of my stay a cleaning crew made it to our room every morning and went above and beyond at that time. It was clear that it was finally addressed even though they didn’t acknowledge the problem to me directly in a professional manner. The hotel has a policy of no smoking however the room had smells and stains of smoke throughout the room next to the balcony door, which was unpleasant as the smells and odor from the furniture in that room was consistent in cigarette ash/smoke smells. That’s more of a guest problem. There were also guests that were smoking on their balcony’s so I couldn’t have my family on the balcony often to enjoy the beautiful view they have from the hotel. The locale was the best part. It was an absolutely amazing view right on the beach. Overall minus the service it was good

Has a lot of potential. There's so many little things the place needs. Touch up paint in the rooms. Everything seemed so cheap. The first room we got there was a leak on the floor near the washer/dryer so they moved our room. We went from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor. They gave us the option to stay low or go higher. My kids chose higher. The appliances seemed to be upgraded from the 2nd floor. There really should be a little store or something for folks staying in rooms like this at the hotel. There was no laundry detergent, coffee filters, salt and pepper, paper towels. Had to go to the store and buy some, and a lot of the items are more than is needed for a few days. Would be nice to have "travel size" items, or them be supplied with the amount you pay. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would stay there again
