It was ok close to the beach

Honestly, it was not a good one!! None of the rooms were ready at check in, people had to wait for hours and the staff didn’t really seem to care about the inconvenience it caused and the manager wouldn’t come out to speak about the situation

Hi Aimee. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We did experience problems with our third party agencies that provide our linen and temporary housekeeping labor. These challenges impacted the rooms being ready on a timely manner. This is not how we like to start off a stay. We pride ourselves in the level of service that we provide, and realize that we fell short. We are so sorry for the inconvenience that this caused.

This was a very nice hotel. It was clean and convenient to waterfront and many attractions. It offered good incentives.

2 blocks away from the beach, and just a walk to Broadway on the Beach! Sheraton is right in the middle of it all!

The carpet is filthy and bathroom tiles are moldy

First thing was the keys didn’t work, the carpets were filthy with stains throughout. The tile in the bathroom is dirty and has mold on it. But worst of all is how noisy the rooms are in regards to the hallways. It sounds like people are right next to you and there’s no way to rest.

Traveler Beware

I reserved my room thru Expedia (which is normal) about 4 weeks prior to my trip to Myrtle Beach. Upon arrival, I was told because I made the reservation thru a third party (meaning Expedia), my confirmed reservation for a room with 2 beds, which I paid for, was not guaranteed & I was given a room with a king bed & a single cot for 4 people. Very hefty price for what we got and the front desk told me nothing could be done. We were given clean towels on our second night stay only after we contacted the front desk. I'm sure there are places for a third of the price that are better just down the street. Perfect example of "not getting" what you pay extra for.

Great hotel with easy access to convention center & sports complex. The staff were extremely curteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet.
