Comfy hotel close to Litchfield Beach

Booked this hotel thinking that its close to Myrtle beach. But this one is atleast a 30 min drive from Myrtle beach. If you are looking to book a hotel close to where all the activities are i would suggest to book somewhere in Myrtle beach.

Hotel was nice, clean and so close to the beach. Nice area to walk around and very close to two major cities and great sights, restaurants and stores in Pawleys Island. Hotel staff was friendly. Enjoy the free breakfast and enjoy it while watching the sun rise. Beautiful.

Terrific stay

Location excellent. Desk and service staff just terrific. Polite, helpful and accommodating. Only room issue was a trace of sand in bathub. Would definitely stay again

Great Beach Hotel

Great beach hotel. We were there in November..freezing (unusual apparently)...but still enjoyed the beauty of the beach and imagine it is an awesome place for a family to spend a summer beach vacation. Staff friendly and helpful and a chef-run restaurant that catered to my Celiac daughter....

Close to beach. Quiet.

The staff were great. The beach was nice. I found the wifi to be very on and off, mostly off. They said it was working but it took the desk guy and me an hour to get me on in the lobby. It fell off again in the room. I gave up. I work on the computer on the road, so I ended up in McDonalds for a little while each day. Other than the Internet, it was a great stay!

Needs love and updating.

Pros: Hotel location and room location within the hotel. Great towels.
Cons: Outdated, lacked quality bedding and cleanliness issues.
Location: Great location on a good beach. Shopping and great restaurants within a reasonable distance (all accessible by car).
The room was adequate size with some kitchen and bathroom updates. Bathroom grout in shower was covered with mildew. There was a large crack in the mirrored closet doors and one door would not slide at all which prevented access to the hanging portion of the closet and the luggage stand. The bed coverings were old, faded and did not look clean (some stains). The ceiling moldings were very dusty and dirty. The ceiling fan over the bed looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The room location was great and parking access at this time of year was also great. However, the second floor balcony overlooking the ocean could have been accessed from the first floor and the sliding glass door was missing the locking hardware. The hotel did kindly provide an aluminum rod (too short by about 18 inches) to lay in the sliding glass door track to prevent unwarranted entry!

Pros: Location and friendly staff. Ease of parking and great restaurant onsite.
Cons: Room was a bit untidy and the air conditioning unit was blowing cold air
