Terrific stay

Location excellent. Desk and service staff just terrific. Polite, helpful and accommodating. Only room issue was a trace of sand in bathub. Would definitely stay again

Close to beach. Quiet.

The staff were great. The beach was nice. I found the wifi to be very on and off, mostly off. They said it was working but it took the desk guy and me an hour to get me on in the lobby. It fell off again in the room. I gave up. I work on the computer on the road, so I ended up in McDonalds for a little while each day. Other than the Internet, it was a great stay!

Needs love and updating.

Pros: Hotel location and room location within the hotel. Great towels.
Cons: Outdated, lacked quality bedding and cleanliness issues.
Location: Great location on a good beach. Shopping and great restaurants within a reasonable distance (all accessible by car).
The room was adequate size with some kitchen and bathroom updates. Bathroom grout in shower was covered with mildew. There was a large crack in the mirrored closet doors and one door would not slide at all which prevented access to the hanging portion of the closet and the luggage stand. The bed coverings were old, faded and did not look clean (some stains). The ceiling moldings were very dusty and dirty. The ceiling fan over the bed looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The room location was great and parking access at this time of year was also great. However, the second floor balcony overlooking the ocean could have been accessed from the first floor and the sliding glass door was missing the locking hardware. The hotel did kindly provide an aluminum rod (too short by about 18 inches) to lay in the sliding glass door track to prevent unwarranted entry!

Pros: Location and friendly staff. Ease of parking and great restaurant onsite.
Cons: Room was a bit untidy and the air conditioning unit was blowing cold air

Great location, great property!

Pros: Location, staff, on-site bar and restaurant, included breakfast, nice pools and RIGHT on the beach!
Cons: The only complaint we had was that the beds weren't incredibly comfortable... and a little sandy! :)
Location: One building away from the beach - we loved it!
We had a quick one night stay at the property for a wedding on Pawley's Island, and loved the wonderful location, friendly staff, and bright, clean room. Would definitely stay again!

Good location but not clean.

We picked this hotel because it was on the coast. We were very disappointed (especially after paying good money) that as soon as we walked in the room we could smell mold. It was a pretty room, the beds seemed fresh and clean, the bathroom was clean. But there was mold all over the air conditioner making the room smell terrible. Also, I was barefoot in the room for about 5 minutes and noticed my feet were BLACK! The floor was filthy. From then on we wore shoes inside. On the upside: the staff was friendly, great location and beautiful facility. Just so weird that it was so dirty :(

Just ok

Inside the room was really nice. We had a 2 bedroom suite. Outside was a bit rundown looking. Both pools are handicap accessible. Continental breakfast was very basic, with instant oatmeal, cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee and tea. Nothing hot or fresh.

Enjoyed my stay

Nice, but older hotel with a super friendly staff. It has an excellent beach access as it is an ocean front property. This causes issues with humidity and dampness in the (motel style- exterior hallway) room I had, but not a deal breaker because it is appropriately priced, clean, nicely decorated, well appointed, spacious, and comfortable! It met my expectations for what I paid for :)

Will probably call you did not get the room I ask for one of the DEST clerks was very rude they did make and adjustment but was not enough hope to here from you so I can express myself in person
