Ask for a top floor with an ocean view I got catercorner view of the ocean not what I asked for

Pros: Location
Cons: The place needs to be cleaner, the parking garage is very dirty as are the hallways in the hotel.
The room and hallway was not very clean. Our room had a nice view of the ocean, and was reasonably quiet. The elevators required a long wait and one day were completely out of order, we had to take the stairs, lucky for us we were only on the 4th floor. The TV wasn't working, but the repair man came promptly and fixed the problem, same with a leak from the kitchen sink. This is a pet friendly hotel, it seemed at times that there were more dogs than people on the premises :)

Great Stay

Pros: The view and the indoor pool.
Cons: did not stay long enough to form an opinion
Location: We did not have time to do much stuff, except enjoy the beach.
our room overlooked the ocean. the beach was excellent.

Terrible hotel

Checked into hotel I had an infant put us on 19th floor room ceiling was falling apart there was a dragonfly in the room sheets were stained carpet was litting they changed my room that room had stains on mattress the back balcony had bird poop all over it shower was cold took 2 hours to get a play pen for my son called front desk to tell them about everything that was going on they never fixed it or handled any of my concerns very unhappy

Pros: I liked that is was safe, I liked the location, I liked that it is pet friendly. The housekeeping staff was wonderful the pools were nice.
Cons: Be more careful of problems and fix them properly
Location: Within walking distance of the Boardwalk and a few minuets from Broadway on the Beach
We have stayed at The Patricia Grand many times in the past, but this time we were very disappointed. We were in room 530, I don't know if we just got a bad room or if the entire hotel is getting run down. I noticed a moldy smell in the bathroom, couldn't figure out what it was until the end of our stay when I noted the shower curtain was moldy and mildewed on the bottom. Also, and this is the worst, the toilet was broken, the seal was broken and someone placed a piece of plastic to keep the toilet from moving. Since the seal was broken we had the pleasure of smelling sewer gas. Last but not least was the cockroach. I am more disappointed that both myself and my husband sent emails to the manager of the Patricia Grand and to the President of the hotel chain and have not heard back. They cosmetically fixed the resort up, but, underneath everything is in disrepair. If you are reading this, make sure you request not to stay in room 530!

Last trip for the summer

Had an awesome time. It was so relaxing sitting by pool side watching the beautiful view.

Needs Maintenance!

My husband and I have stayed over 150 nights in hotels this year from FL to WA. This hotel was the worst by far. The clerks were slow and rude. The lobby was busy because of evacuees, like ourselves. The clerk could not find my reservation and was rude about it. It took awhile to check in. Our room was spacious, but in need of maintenance and toilet paper!! There were a lot of little things that made for an unpleasant stay.

Woderful hotel great views

I love this hotel. The view is great and the staff are super friendly! Clean, love the architecture and soooo many amenities. I will defenitley be staying here again I've uncovered a gem.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was excellent. The ladies at the front desk made sure they explained everything very well. The room was clean. And I would recommend Patricia Grand to my family and friends
