Phenomenal beach side hotel

Although the wifi was down, I had such a great stay! Previously stayed here 2 years ago and never realized all of the amenities until this visit and I was blown away. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I had a great stay. They offered to call us taxis, a list of board games, and even held our bags when we had to wait for our later flight back home. All around FABULOUS STAY I would recommend to all of my friends to stay here!

Good hotel for the money.

Nice place to stay for the money, just didn't like the attitude I got when i was checking in and trying to find someone to give me a parking pass.

Won't go back

Pros: We received a free upgrade to a two bedroom ocean front villa. But the hotel was practically empty anyway.
Cons: Don't require us to park across from the hotel past a busy four lane street. A late checkout was denied on our last day. Unacceptable!
Location: Lots of restaurants but mostly just touristy. The Sky Wheel Ferris wheel is a must. We spent a day trip in Charleston to find neat things to do.
The facility is nice and has good security features requiring a key card for most access. The problem is there is a mixture of owners and guests and the owners get priority. There is no setup in the room for a computer work station, although there is WiFi. There is an additional resort fee of $9 per day that is just pure profit for them.

Older hotel but very well maintained. Great beach

Pros: room, location, amenities, view
Location: Great location with easy walk access
Only there for a couple of days, but would go back in a heartbeat. Very well maintained building. Would have been nice to have food and beverage available closer to lobby area in the morning,

RATS!!

I have photos and video of TWO HUGE RATS that jumped out at me in the lobby. This was a disaster and a total waste of our time on this trip. Hotel reimbursed me for the night but that didn't give us back the 4 hours of our night wasted pa king, unpacking and moving rooms from tower to tower to avoid sleeping in the building where the Rats were crawling up the furniture!

Pros: Good for the price
Cons: Pool bar understaffed.
Room was OK, but not great. Pretty good value though for the cost. Apparently, "view of the amusement park" means overlooking a roof with vents and junk on it, with a tired old and vacated carnival.

Friendly but not helpul

Pros: Ocean front view, well situated
Cons: Cleanliness, pest control, maids come too late, 3-4pm, have computers that we can print from. Don't push time shares
Very pushy on trying to sell you a time share. Found a cockroach on the tub in our bathroom. No coffee in the morning. They let you use the computer but you can't open a pdf or print. Lots of competition and found other properties nearby for less money and much friendlier and cleaner.

Nice hotel right on beach.

Pay the extra get a balcony! Don't go on the beach after 10 pm the lock the gates!!! And dont expect a drink at the poolside bar after dinner it's closed! Frat party while we were there very loud music and smoking on balcony but didn't last long I assume they were shut down?! Took too long for the hotel Staff to shut it down though. It was well after midnight. This hotel is a timeshare so I did feel that because I didn't own one I was treated lower. Park across the street and wasn't given any info about the hotel I.e. Where pools were located,vending machines so on. Didn't even know the hotel had a restaurant until last night!! But room was clean and balcony was the best part! Not a bad place for the cost!
