Worst stay at a resort ever!!!Posted Aug 21, 2015 on Hotels
My first night at the world tour resort was horrible. The receptionists I spoke to were incompetent. I arrived after hours and I was put on agoose chase to find my check in location. I was sent to 3 different locations. Took me 3 hours and multiple conversations with different receptionists until I finally spoke to one that knew what she was doing. The resort is clean and comfortable but there was nothing to do there. There is not even a pool.To say the least I would not be staying at the world tour golf resort again.

Don't Book with River Oaks Resort VacationsPosted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
The ad for World Tour Golf Resort provided ample photos and amenity details to allow me to decide to book a long weekend for my husband, myself and my in-laws who are in their 70's. We arranged for late check-in and arrived after 10:30 to retrieve keys and map from the specified lock box. That is when I learned that we were booked in a completely different property than I reserved online. The next morning, I took my booking information to the management company for an explanation and they blamed Hotels.com for the mix up and state it happens all the time. They did give us a new condo at the the property we reserved but I would not book with this company again for fear they would do the same thing again--this feels very much like a bait and switch scheme. River Oaks books for these properties: Berkshire Heatherstone Fairways Grande Villas (World Tour Golf Resort) River Oaks Waterway Village Buyer beware!

Beautiful by look, 15 min from beach , no bikesPosted May 26, 2015
It was very beautiful and check in was nice. When had s bad time trying to get into the pool. I wished they had gave us a key card. We went for bike week but they didn't allow bikes on the property so we missed out seeing alot of friends and family. Wasn't much to do there but go to the pool.

VacationPosted Mar 25, 2014
I enjoy staying there it was very clean outside and in. My only concern was when my kids was wanting to get into the pooh this lady kept telling em that it was not open so it took my husband to go down there to see was it a problem by we was not told of any restrictions. But other than that I enjoy my stay

Normal condo NO golf amenities, not worth it.Posted Feb 10, 2014
The room was a normal nice condo except king bed was 2 single beds pushed together with gap in middle obvious. We chose to stay here over an ocean front condo thinking it had golf amenities like being able to practice on putting green, however, we were rudely ran off of it and informed that it didn't matter whether or not we were renters. The only advantage of staying here was that it was close to golf courses...but there are PLENTY other options to stay where I'm sure the staff are much friendlier, hospitable, and welcoming. (River Oaks being one golf course that were extremely welcoming to us. They went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time.)

Checking in was confusing and stressful because we arrived after the office closed. We had difficulty finding our room because it was at a different locatin than world tour resort. We were expecting a king or Queen size bed instead we had two twin beds pushed together. We had to purchase items she thought would be in the room like dishwashing liquid and dish towel.
