We stayed at the hotel for the weekend, taking our daughter on her first trip to Mystic. This hotel was newer and updated and seemed like a great price. We would definitely stay here again, no issues at all at the fault of the hotel but the walls are pretty thin and you can hear every conversation going on in the room next door (may have been at fault of the door for adjoined rooms) and the family we had next door was very loud. You can also hear the loud stomping upstairs too, but honestly it was quiet during quiet hours and we didn't have any issues.

Nice place to stay. Clean. Very noisy though. The walls are thin so you can hear noise from walking above you easily. If noise doesnt bother you then this is a great place.

Understandably this is not a 5 star hotel but with that said it has been newly renovated! Our room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was nice. We had an issue with our tv and they had maintenance in our room in minutes to fix it and he was super nice! My only negative comment would be the overall appearance of the hallways were dark/dingy feeling and you could hear people talking/walking in the hall. Overall great stay and would stay there again.

I only slept a few hours. Just when I would nod off to sleep, I would hear a door close to another guest's room. This property is not suitable for light sleepers.

We stayed at Spark for one night it was about 18 minutes from Foxwoods. The place was clean and quiet. Shopping is about 15 minutes away. I will stay at Spark again.

Breakfast could be better. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything at night and in the morning which can be annoying if you’re trying to sleep. However very affordable and nice quality room for a little getaway

Room and area was clean. Service was very good. One negative was the level of noise from the guests in the room above jusr walking back and forth. I would request a room on the upper floor if I stayed here again.

The rooms and bathroom were small. The sink was very slow. The walls were thin could hear conversations in next room and people upstairs walking. Seemed pretty clean. Would be ok for a night stay over for lower rate.

We booked 3 rooms with friends. 2 of the rooms were clean but the 3rd room had ants all over the bathroom floor. My friend took a picture of the ants and at checkout brought it to the attention of the gentleman sitting in the Manager’s office. The “Manager” thanked him and said he would “look into it” and walked out of the office. Never apologized or offered any type of compensation / refund. Poor Customer service, the Manager could have been more receptive to the complaint.

Spark is a low-cost hotel that is cleaner and nicer than any other hotel I've been to at its price point. We had our dog with us and it was very convenient that there was plenty of green space around the parking lot to take the dog out.
