Great hotel with cold pool

Our family of 4 stayed for three nights at this hotel in New London CT. The staff were helpful and polite, and I appreciated being able to use the vouchers for the kids' meals at the hotel restaurant. The room was very clean with modern decor, and we all slept well in the room with two queen size beds. However, the pool temperature was very cold. The kids were able to enjoy it for a short while, but by the time I got used to the pool water my son's teeth were chattering and we had to leave. If the hotel would adjust the pool to a warmer temperature I would stay here again. Otherwise I'll take a chance on another hotel next time we're in the area.

Great location if traveling from and to LI NY

Pros: Location,clean on premise Restaurant and Bar
Cons: Add a larger Bar menu with some healthy choices
Location: cross sound ferry to LI NY, Long Island winery's, Amatrack.
Great hotel and restaurant, great if traveling back and forth from New England to NY by ferry. Restaurant serves Lunch Dinner and Breakfast and not overpriced. Rooms our spacious and clean. Friendly accommodating staff

Great night sleep

Pros: The Pillows are the best I have ever slept on..I need to know what kind they are.
Cons: the elevator or clearly marked stair ways when they only have one elevator working.
Housekeeping staff were very pleasant and helpful. They were down to one elevator that would not always bring you to the floor that you pushed the button for, the elevator was full and the only button that was pushed was for the ground floor. It would go to the Ground floor the doors wouldn't open and then would go all of the way up to the 5th floor and then proceed to stop at every floor all of the way down.. The kids enjoyed the pool that was very clean. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable but the pillows were Amazing!!

Pros: Room was spacious, bathroom was very clean and beds were super comfortable. Cleaning staff in the morning greeted us with salutations as we walked by
Cons: Retrain your staff at check in. It was very fast, but he wasn't pleasant at all.
Location: Only stayed one night.
The gentlemen who checked us in and who later sold us sodas and ice cream was less then pleasant. I felt that he was annoyed when i asked him questions. He didn't appear to enjoy his job very much. Other then that,... we enjoyed our stay. Everything met expectation and then some. Room was spacious, bathroom was very clean and beds were super comfortable. Cleaning staff in the morning greeted us with salutations as we walked by.

It was comfortable, clean n loved that we had a frig n wi if 😍..we stood in the Roosevelt hotel in NYC n it was crap! We had no free wi fi, no frid, no dressers or even HOT WATER...we would recommend HOLIDAY INN ANYDAY BEFORE ANY OTHER HOTEL 😍

Nice & clean

Nice hotel. Room very clean and bathroom great. Only surprise was that breakfast wasn't included. I didn't feel this was clear when I booked through Expedia. I would definitely stay there again though.

Decent hotel

Decent hotel, only a couple of things to complain about, we were woke up two times on a Saturday ( roughly 2 and 3:30 am, people in the hallways) the other two nights we did not have any problems. Watch out for the taxes and fees when booking.......,
