Howard Johnson Inn Mystic

Pros: We forgot one of the cell phone in the room after check out. They called right away.
First walk in feels quite good. But the room is not really cleaned. We found left over dishes in the drawer.

Nice, quiet town

There was a snow storm. The hotel was very accommodating in helping us dig out our car.

Easy location, nice rooms, very convenient.

Location: It is adjacent to Mystic Diner, where you can eat for 10% off.
Hotel is super easy to find, with great location right off highway and in Mystic shops center. Very simple, recently redone rooms with nice color schemes. Heat, bed linens, comfort and sound barriers all good for a stay on a snowy night. Nice extra perks of microwave and fridge to reheat leftovers from restaurant. Very nice option for a quick stay at a really great price. Gave us free toothpaste as we forgot ours :)

Outdated room not as described. Dirty bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator on floor. Furniature old and dirty. Holes in bed skirt from who know's what.

Across the street from Mystic Village

Pros: Restaurants within walking distance
Cons: Bathroom fan didn't work; surprised no one had noticed!
Location: Mystic Village across the street and two restaurants within walking distance. Both restaurants give you a 10% discount if you are a hotel guest.
Older hotel, but the indoor pool was wonderful. Close to Mystic Village. Friendly's and Mystic Diner within walking distance (and you also received a 10% discount at both of those places). Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in Mystic, CT

Pros: Friendly staff, good location
This is a great hotel in Mystic, CT. It is definitely an older building. The rooms were reasonably clean but some renovation would be nice. The service staff was excellent - they were friendly and very quick to respond to our requests. If we return to Mystic, we will probably stay here again.

Needs attention.

Sheets inside out. I doubt they change them between guests even though supervisor assured me they are changed. Hair on sheets. Could be cleaned and better care taken of place. Could be a nice place if cleaned better. Room had a musty smell. Needs some updating done still. Noisy by doors in room 101. No breakfast because of contract with next door restaurant which has awful food and outrageous prices. Wifi was hit or miss. Very disappointed.

Great stay!

Rooms are large with all the amenities (microwave, fridge, safe). A pool right down the hall, the staff are awesome. The location can't be beat. Also, the giant orange HoJo Chair. We'll be coming back. .. cause the price was excellent too.
