Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. The staff and service were amazing and they were all very hospitable. It was very well decorated and our room was perfect. They even offered us a rollout bed so our kids wouldn’t have to share! They also had a game room that my kids loved and a beautiful viewing deck. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as well and they made gluten free options for my husband. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Amanda was welcoming and helpful. Our room, the “Fishing Room”, was filled with fun things to look at and had a big clawfoot tub in the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t come all the way from Florida to stay in some chain hotel—this place is off the beaten path, quaint, clean, safe, and I’d highly recommend it. The hotel is located at a beautiful and quiet place. It is a family owned place and feels like home coming. The interior decorations are elegant and beautiful. Shannon is very nice. The views from the deck and out of the main floor dining/lounge are beautiful. Our room was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The artwork around the the whole place is amazing and just added to the beauty of the property. The owners are very accommodating, loved to tell the story of the area, and took care of all our questions and needs. They have traveled quite a bit themselves so they know what a traveler likes to see. Breakfast was a very nice variety including something hot and fresh. You CAN NOT go wrong booking.
