Pros: This hotel was close to where I needed to be
Cons: Better Housekeeping Condition of appliances
Location: Not too much to do where I was. Mostly museums.
In the first room the Fridge was not working so I had to move after 1 night. The housekeeping staff needs to learn how to clean and restock amenities.

Whenever we visit Nacogdoches, we always stay here. It is such a wonderful, comfortable place.

NO HOT WATER!!!

Posted Apr 25, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel it self was fine, for the price point. The room was not as clean as you would expect.. However, the second night of our stay we came back to the Hotel to find that there was NO HOT WATER! The Hotel staff tried to accommodate us by offering a different room or a refund, but thats when other people started reporting the lack of hot water too. There was no hot water anywhere in the Hotel. When asked if anyone was trying to fix the problem, we were told that they would not be able to get a plumber until the following morning. It was not even midnight yet and a weekday. Do Hotels not have emergency maintenance. I don't know if this is a common thing here or a one time bad day, but even though the Hotel was nice we will not be staying here again. No hot water is a deal breaker and I won't run that risk again.

Noisy! We listened to highway traffic and trains all night! Fat pillows, ugh!

Texas' oldest city.

Posted Apr 10, 2017 on Hotels
Nacogdoches, Comfort Suites, was our "Hub" for our week's travels. Aside from the road construction (nearly finished) CS is easy to access and close to pretty much everything to see --which entails a LOT within Texas' oldest city. Hotel is very new. Our only complaint was the rear entrance key-card door locks were not operational which required walking from the back to the front to enter... A real pain if one's room is toward the rear of the hotel, as ours was. Room was HUGE. Breakfasts were very good.
