When we arrived the room we were assigned to smelled like cigarettes really bad. The person at the front desk was efficient in moving us to another room immediately. That was the only good thing about the hotel. The pool is closed until sometime in May. This was not disclosed at the time of booking, and the pool was one of the reasons we selected this particular hotel. The floors were so dirty that after taking a shower and walking around the room for a bit the bottom of my feet were black. The juices provided at breakfast were extremely watered down. There was no decaf coffee option, which really sucks since I have high blood pressure but still enjoy coffee. The only options for breakfast foods were instant oatmeal and some muffins. And when I say some muffins, I mean they only put out 4 muffins for everyone at the hotel. Breakfast being provided was also one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. While we did eat breakfast from the hotel on our first day, we went to a nearby restaurant to get an actual fresh cooked hot meal on our second day. I honestly should have just stayed at a motel 6 with how abysmal this stay was. At least the Super 8 in Childress, TX was nice enough that after we stayed there on our drive out from Colorado Springs to Nacogdoches we decided to stay there again on our way back. But the Days Inn in Nacogdoches was a joke. I will definitely NOT be staying there again.

It was just okay. Old coffee pod in the coffee maker, no lock on the bathroom door, shower head was coming apart. AC was loud, so loud, in fact, that we thought it was actually a truck outside. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. The chair pictured was the first thing we saw. Just throw it away. We only stayed because of inclement weather, otherwise I would have been out of there.

Check in was easy and the manager was pleasant. Room and furnishings need a major upgrade. Breakfast was just a granola bar or a muffin. The TV from the room next to us was loud and woke us up at 5 am. No phone in the room. It was just okay but we won’t return.

Be careful how you book
Hotel itself was fine. Extra great customer service. Thankfully they were able to help me when hotels.com could not. Because I booked through hotels.com and opted to pay at the hotel, hotels.com was not able to help me change my reservation. Days inn was not able to help because I booked through hotels.com. Service/help (or lack there of) from hotels.com was a joke.

The general cleanliness of the room was very good. The bathrooms could use some maintenance/replacement. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was subpar so, the towels stayed damp on the shelves.

There was rust in the bath tub, burn marks in the blanket, the room smelt like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. I paid less at the super 8 and has a much better room. Was not worth the money paid for.

Very surprised Wyndham would have their name attached to this property. I could have found an hourly hotel that compared to if not better than this property. Will not make that mistake again. I stayed in a courtyard by Marriott last night for the exact same price that was 10 times better.

Good things were, the room itself was very clean, and had really nice staffs members. Some semi bad things were that we had really loud hotel neighbors, kind of hard to sleep. Then on our second day we had a fire alarm that was pulled by the neighbors, then later on we had to get out of the room for a unsuspected but quick maintenance, but other than that it was an okay stay.

Arrived at 9pm, although my room was very nice, the air was off and the room was very hot and took a while to cool down. Disappointing when I just wanted to go to sleep. As a woman traveling alone the parking area felt very unsafe. I was out at the end of a row with poor lighting my and at least half a dozen random men loitering, sitting in staircases and on curbs, smoking ect. I felt very uncomfortable walking up to my room. I have a daughter in college in this town and will pick another hotel next time we come to visit.

The unit had a dirty feel mostly due to the stained chair. Little things matter to me like quality of toilet paper. The room may have been clean, but due to stains did not feel clean. We reserved for 3, but only had two towels.

Arrived on 04/29 for the night. The Room had very dirty floors, counter tops were sticky and nasty from previous tenants drinks, no blow dryer and towels for one person, when 3 people were staying there. The next morning our truck was ran into.

This stay was not the greatest. First I reserved a room that was handicap accessible for my 90 year old grandpa. When we got there I made sure they gave me an accessible room. The lady that was there said I was not in an accessible room so she changed our room and gave us one. So we are in the room and this is clearly not an accessible room. The bathroom was so small he could not fit himself and the walker in there at the same time. He had to back out. My 90 year old grandpa had to back out. The tub was low so if he bumped it he would fall into the tub and hurt himself. We asked the front about a "real" handicap room and this hotel does not accommodate handicap individuals. It was too late in the day to change hotels, so we had to "make it work". He was not able to get a shower because he can not lift his legs high enough to get over the tub nor was the bathroom big enough for him to maneuver around. We had to go buy a urinal for him to use. IN A HOTEL THAT WE SPENT GOOD MONEY TO STAY IN. I would not recommend this hotel especially if you need handicap accessibilities. The place was also dirty. There was only 1 towel for 3 people (well 2 since grandpa could not shower). The ramp for handicap and wheelchairs was so steep that he almost fell. I wont be back to a Days Inn ever or anything by Wyndam. I am very disappointed at Days Inn.

Cheap and basic accommodation- walls are thin so a little noisy - but room was very clean with daily cleaning service - I’ve stayed in very expensive hotels without that - so that was a nice bonus! My room was upgraded to a jacuzzi king - and that was a nice extra :) - working on a big movie install so it felt good at the end of the day. Breakfast was basic - but the breakfast bars were good! Excellent value with clean and comfy beds - I would stay here again

Bathroom door missing handle, outlet box hanging from wall. Mold in shower caulking should be removed and replaced. Older hotel needs $$ to bring up to par.
