2/5 Poor

Great history, but horrible communication
We booked our stay months ago, knowing it would be a busy weekend in Nac for SFA homecoming. Our plans changed over a week before our arrival and our high school son couldn’t come on the trip because of his commitments at his school. I messaged the owner twice through VRBO to see if we could just stay one night and let them know that there would only be 2 of us. I never received any communication back to either message. So…we made our son miss his commitments and come with us since we were still being charged 2 nights. We arrived late on Saturday after dark. The pathway and porch are not lit up at night to see where to enter. We got into our suite and were only provided 2 towels and 1 washcloth. The room also still had dirty towels in the laundry bin and 2 empty beer cans at the mini fridge. I sent a text to the number provided in the room to ask for more towels so we could shower before bed. We received no response. An hour later (10:30 pm), I texted all 3 emergency numbers. We gave up on the towels and went to bed. I finally received a reply where to get more towels after we went to bed. There are also 2 large and loud dogs fenced at the back of the property. They bark each time you leave or enter the front door.

5/5 Excellent

The home was oozing with historical charm and architecture.
My son has moved to this area, so will return when I have more to “to play”. Everything went very smoothly.

5/5 Excellent

Historical inn
Staying here was a delight. We had the whole house to ourselves and it was so pleasant sitting on the porch. The history of the town is amazing.

1/5 Terrible

Disliked: Amenities
I called the property manager and expressed the uncleanliness of the bathroom had not been cleaned the toilet had a ring in it of dirt the floor was completely unswept there was toothpaste and hair in the sink single bed had no sheets at all just a comforter thrown on it and two pillows and the floors need to be vacuumed and cleaned other than that it was nice and quiet I would have expected it to be cleaned. Especially during a Covid-19 pandemic.
