Nice hotel close to city center

Nice hotel close to city center The people at the hotel and of Kenya would absolutely delightful. They help me navigate through the streets. I also met somebody from Narobi who took me out to dinner one night definitely will go back

Pros: Hotel staff very friendly
Cons: renovate facilities. Shower taps too old
Location: Good
good hotel, no fridge in room, Buffet meals very expensive

A wonderful stay in a great hotel. Spacious rooms but they are tired and need renovation. Staff superb.Right on the edge of the CBD, by a busy road but well soundproofed. Staff were pleased you came and sorry you left. Recommended.

Good place Very friendly staff

Great location, very good staff (everyone from cleaners, reception, security etc) breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. Rooms are a bit worn (guess nothing has been done since the 80s) but my room was massive! A clothing iron would be nice in the room I would stay again and would recommend to friends and family

The hotel is run down and a lot of the emenities are poor. Breakfast was ok... rooms were horrible. Beds have mattresses that are thin and you can feel the springs, towels are not soft, almost scratching the body and are not clean, carpets are filthy, the rooms are dusty. Need I say more?

Improvements needed at NSF

The room was filthy when I checked in - the carpet in the bedroom needed vaccuming, the bathroom had hair all over the place, the balcony had not been cleaned or dusted in what looked like days. On the second and third day I had to content with not having enough towels in the bathroom - even after having raised my disatisfaction with the quality of housekeeping at the front desk. By the last night I was not even given shower gel for the bathroom. The food is average, nothing to write home about. Service at breakfast needs to be uped a notch - it takes forever to get a cup of coffee because there is simply not enough staff on the floor. On the first night of my stay, I had return the drumsticks I was served in the bar because they were cold. In general, I did not enjoy my stay at the Nairobi Safari Club. I doubt I will be coming back.

Not 4 star Hotel

It is true what other viewers said, this Hotel needs a serious deep cleaning service. Maintenance is definitely lacking and the towels are all washed out. Two towels were so thin it actually torn when used to dry after the shower. It is a bath shower with no anti slip mat. The water pressure was good, just the shower head needs cleaning as it sprays in all directions. The furniture are old but it suits the room. The TV remote did not work properly and I gave up on reporting this the third and last night of my stay. Front-desk every time say they will send someone, well needless to say that someone never pitched. This is not a 4 star hotel anymore, its more like a 2.5 or 3 star. The hotel taxi service was good but way over priced. Normal taxi or Uber is a third of the hotel's taxi fee. The food in the restaurant is pretty average and no complaints. The staff are all very friendly and the location of the Hotel right next to a noisy street but close to the CBD.

Good hotel in a nice area.

Pros: The staff were friendly and the check-in was quick and easy.
Cons: I had a large suite with two big windows, but it was spooky because the walls were brown and so was the curtain net, It was very Victorian.
Location: The hotel was near a park and within walking distance of many interesting shops in the city.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel, it was in a nice part of the city and was close to amenities. The staff were helpful.

A Nice Place to Stay in Nairobi

A nice comfortable suite hotel. It was close to where the tournament was going on. The breakfast and room service meals were good. Friendly staff. Fast food outlets in very close proximity,
