Pros: Location
Cons: Updates
Location: Located in Nairobi town, close to everything
Nairobi Safari club hotel is located in Nairobi town, it is very convenient for travelers seeking for accommodation in town. The hotel is very clean and the staff members are very helpful and courteous. It is budget friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Convienent for central business district

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Smells like raid, so out of date it's funny. No bed in my executive suite, just a very uncomfortable king sized box spring with nice sheets. The staff was great as was the location. They have an annexed restaurant around the corner and the food was excellent. Doubt that I'll stay there again but if you need a place to stay for cheap in Nairobi, this will do

Night before Safari

Posted Jan 23, 2017
Pros: Modern, recognized by safari company to be picked up there.
Cons: Heat could not be turned off.
Location: Only stayed the night before leaving.
This is a fine place to stay for night. Safari companies pick up from here. It was clean, only problem was not able to turn the heat off, so slept with the window open. Too tired to call for assistance, so it was not that they did not respond, just easier to open the window. Breakfast was too expensive for us, and there isn't really anything close enough to see when you walk a block or so. Safari guide stopped on way out.

Really run down

Posted Jan 17, 2017
Pros: helpful staff
Cons: food service is very slow
Location: it's really not safe to walk around Nairobi
The staff are very nice and helpful, but the property is really run down. It's clean but for example, there is black mold in the shower tiles

Convenient and clean

Posted Dec 20, 2016
Pros: Location. Staff. Reputation.
Location: The Nairobi Safari Club is on the edge of Nairobi's city centre - not in the busy area. It's a short walk to forexes, shops, and restaurants.
I spent two nights in the Nairobi Safari Club after getting a very good rate through Expedia. The hotel had been showing signs of degrade but now seems to be improving. Still, it's quite pleasant and an easy walk to most stores in city centre. Staff is polite and cheerful. I plan to stay at this hotel on my next visit to Kenya.

Lovely hotel in the center of Nairobi

Posted Nov 22, 2016
I stayed 3 days at this lovely centrally located hotel. The room was very large and well furnished with a lovely view over central Nairobi. There was a separate bedroom, bathroom and a living room with separate sitting and dining area The breakfast buffét was enourmous! There was all heart and stomach could desire! Internet and satellite TV worked fine all the time. The restaurant is big but nicely furnished and there is an interesting menu card with many lovely dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the center of Nairobi within walking distance of several Maasai markets, the shopping street Moi Avenue, beauty parlors, massage etc. There is a Nakumat supermarket just around the corner. Surely this hotel is Value for Money! Please note that the hotel has a "pool" not a "swimming pool"! I asked the hotel if the pool was big enough for long distance swimming and the answer was "yes"! I measured the pool and it was less then 9 metres.
