Looks can be deceiving - serious cleanup needed
Internet pictures were not to go by when selecting this hotel. It looked great but in real life the hotel was disgusting. In addition, I cannot believe the average guest rating scores. Lobby was small and untidy. Decor was terribly dated and even dirty. Room is sparsely furnished. It required some drastic refurbishment. Perhaps just a good scrub could do the world of wonders. Tiles, mirrors and basin were cracked. Toilet was leaking on the floor. Towels were threadbare. Toilet brush was terribly unhygienic not to mention the back of the toilet. I wanted to check out upon arrival but the hotel would not refund me, so I had to stay. Front desk staff were great in making me feel welcome. General areas were untidy with everything lying around.

Telephone grubby and dated.
Poor workmanship - hotel needs make-over.

The employees are very nice, the hotel is very clean and safe, and food is excellent. However, There are a pack of stray/feral dogs in the hotel neighborhood. Very early in the morning they start barking and they are loud. Sometimes during the night they bark but not as much as in the morning. They are very annoying if you want to sleep after 5:00am. The hotel is not very sound proof and you can hear your neighboring rooms if the people staying are loud.

Wonderful Stay
I haveto say, although it was a short stay, it was very pleasant. I initially had a booking elsewhere and had to cancel because of how terrible the conditions were. So as soon as I came to PrideInn I was beyond relieved! Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend. Thank you PrideInn for the wonderful hospitality

good value but cash bar only
Overall this is a reasonably priced hotel and a good location in Westlands. However you do need to be aware that whilst the Indian food is excellent for the evening menu (plus other food) any alcoholic drinks ordered are served on a separate bill as the bar is run by someone else rather than the hotel owners. These drinks have to be paid in cash and you cannot sign to your room. They don't tell you this when you order a beer etc - so be careful not to be caught short with no cash expecting just to sign them.

Nice hotel in city center.taxis for 3$ available.
Excellent good hotel in the center if nairobi. Warm and welcoming staff Taxis near by that can take you to any part of nairobi.great restaurant with good food.

It was one of the crappiest stay I have every had in any hotel. Its a 2 star hotel claiming to be a 4 star hotel. the ac tripped on the first night, there was no hot water in the morning. the property has no lift and they do not mention this.

The PrideInn in Westlands Nairobi was in a good location. When we arrived to chech- in the front desk receptionist was rude and had anaggressive arrogant manner, in addition the Manager came through reception and had the same attitude. We thought maybe they were just having a bad day however we encountered the same for dinner. The next day for breakfast the same, the chef was too busy looking at his phone despite there being only 4 people for breakfast we had to ask twice for an omlette and made to feel like we were a inconveniencing him. Thankfully we only booked one night, promptly booked elsewhere.

Worst stay. Don't do it to yourself
Horrible place. I wish I could say one nice thing about this two day stay. Close to westlands but in a really dark and dangerous road. Not good at night. I'd prefer to spend an extra 50 usd and stay elsewhere. Mosquitoes, dirty rooms, rude staff. Never again.

Nice Little hotel in the middle of Nairobi
An above average experience, not your typical top of the range, but in its class I think its good, the rooms are okay and clean. Staff quite helpful and friendly. Although, the fumes from the restaurant's kitchen gets into the rooms when window is opened.

A good place to sleep
The area does not allow for any outside venturing. It is a small hotel and the desk clerk did not know of my reservation when I was checking in at almost midnight. They tried to send me to one of their sister hotels in an unacceptable location for me. They said they had no rooms available but when I showed them my reservation number on-line they found a room. All in all the room was comfortable and breakfast was wonderful because of the fountain and greenery in the breakfast area.

BUDGET CENTRAL
Great centrally located hotel in Westlands. Within walking distance of the main malls in Westlands and indeed Nairobi! Great art and craft markets also within walking distance. Given that moving around in Nairobi is a challenge at best this is the best location you can get!

The problem isn't so much that it's not clean but that the hotel, the decor in the rooms and things like the towels, curtains, bed linen are old, worn and greying. For the price, I wasn't impressed.

It's the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed. Some nights we were not able to sleep due to the unbelievable noise of the generator, loud music from the restaurant and the chatting in front of our room door. The breakfast should definitely be improved! The management should take care of the hotel.

Awful and Unsafe
This hotel is located in a good area but does not have a good reputation and is not safe. My driver told me not to stay there but I had already booked the room so wanted to at least check it out. I had them show me the room which was pretty awful, had a door that was exterior and had a key rather than an electronic card. The hotel did not appear safe and trusting the driver's recommendation I chose not to stay. I ended up finding a room at another hotel nearby for about the same price - much nicer and with much better security. The lesson here? You get what you pay for!

What an experience...

Hotel trotz Buchungsbestätigung von Expedia (angeblich) ausgebucht, wurden dann in das weit entfernte Pride Inn Lantana verfrachtet. Mitten in der Nacht nach einer Stunde Warten auf das Taxi. So gehts nicht!!!

This small but convivial hotel is a nice area to spend for few days. The location is very efficient as it is very closed from all nice restaurants and bars. Very welcoming and friendly hotel!
