Nice Hotel close to the airport

The staff at the Boma Hotel are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and large enough. The restaurants have a good assortment on their menus and the food is very good.

Enjoyable stay.

Everything was fine with only a couple of issues. The power went out a number of times during my two night stay. The airconditioner also cut out numerous times making the room warmer than desired. But the overall stay was an enjoyable experience even with those glitches. The staff was the friendliest I have encountered in my many travels.

Good as the first time

Pros: In the morning we had a problem with the water system, no cold water. With a call to reception this was fixed in 5 minutes.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Quiet
The Boma is well situated in a quiet location which is convenient for both airports. On Sunday lunchime it took less than 10 minutes to get to Wilson. We enjoyed a goodlate breakfast before departure.

Convenient to airport

Comfortable with excellent food.......only there for a short night's stay but felt very safe and secure. The breakfast was excellent.

Great big rooms and good & fast wifi connection

Big rooms and clean. 5* room. Management accommodated our request for early check in (7:00am) and allowed us to take our breakfast while waiting for the early check in time. We arrive at the hotel around 3:00am - 3:30am and had to wait for the early check in time of 7:00am. Unfortunately, the hotel has policy that they will charge a full night rate, even if there are available rooms, if you check in earlier than 7:00am. Wish management will be flexible on this and charge a minimal amount instead of a one night rate, since rooms are available anyway.

overnite stay

Pros: So many services included in room price.
Cons: dining room staff a little unaware of clients needs.....chatting among themselves instead of checking tables.
Location: near airport.
surprised that room was like a suite. However, so much furniture, a little overcrowded :) Breakfast included is a welcome service. Bed comfortable, separate shower very nice. room very large. Food good. no charge for computer/wiFi.

A comfortable hotel close to the airport

Pros: Comfortable hotel, close to the airport.
Cons: Did not find the staff particularly friendly or helpful, particularly the concierge.
Location: Close to airport and on the right side of Nairobi for the giraffe and elephant orphanage.
We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and its Red Cross ownership. It was ideal for a short stay but would stay in a more central hotel if we had been in Nairobi longer.

Nice hotel, wonderful staff that let us eat delicious breakfast buffet well after 11 AM closing. Also helped with phone charger issues!
