Although the decor is a bit dated, it is very clean and comfortable. We only need to stay for the night and for the price, it was perfect. Front desk staff was polite and professional.

Was in town for business, so brought the family for a mini-getaway. The staff was all very friendly and courteous. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and check in was quick. Area in Nanaimo is not the most exciting but it's a short drive to everywhere so that did not matter, proximity to the ferry is what we wanted, which is only 10 minutes away. The restaurant [Ricky's] in the hotel was good. Food was tasty and hot when we got it, a row of tables with ocean view was nice to sit at for dinner. The pool/hot tub area was a favorite, which was a big seller for us at this location. Nice that it was open until 11. Would have been nice if the jets in the hot tub had a bit more oomph but it was hot and relaxing. Continental breakfast was what you would expect, it was decent, the muffins were really good.

I wanted a quick dinner but left with the Inn’s restaurant as the only option nearby. The dinner was fine, and the service was great, but was looking for a bit of a different experience.

I requested to cancel my reservation over the phone at 4 pm today. Scott was very helpful and understanding. He mentioned over the phone that I would get a full refund and will cancel my reservation. Great customer service. I was not happy with the facilities cleanliness which was my reasoning of cancelling.
