Room was very clean and staff were amazing. Off a busy road but once in room you dont hear a thing! Will book again when Im in town again :)

It is paper thin walls here. I can hear a people whisper. Anyone who turns on the water makes the sink in my room belch and gurgle. Dont expect a decent quiet stay

Arrived around 7pm and had to pick keys up in a box. Housekeeping didn’t come next day so the garbage sat there. Motel was full and when we arrived back at our room there was no parking left…had to park partially in a tree area. A little pricey for little to no amenities. It was clean and nicely renovated which was nice to see

Was extremely pleasantly surprised with this place. We booked a room with two queens and walked into the room to find the second queen had its own room with a door! The booking also didn’t mention that there would be a fully stocked kitchen, with a toaster oven, microwave, stovetop, and large fridge/freezer. And all of it was immaculately clean.

The location was excellent! We enjoyed walking the paths along the river. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. A quaint motel with well-maintained and updated rooms.

Good value for the price
A nice, clean, updated room with more than adequate cooking facilities. If fishing in Port Alberni for a couple days, it is a very nice and affordable place

Booked for 3 nights. Room had a portable air conditioner in 1st bedroom/kitchen area. Only kept that room cool. 2nd bedroom & bathroom received no air conditioning. Breaker kicked off when hair dryer was used. Had to get someone from office that had to pull wardrobe out to get to breaker box. No daily housekeeping & not even a broom to use myself to sweep sand out. Same towels for 3 days there. People were constantly sitting in chairs outside their rooms smoking & vaping. The smell of Marijuana was in the air. The place reminded me of the strip motels where people lived full time. Also, the cost was over $700 with taxes for the 3 days. Expected more than what we received. But, the flowers & hanging baskets were beautiful but not to nake me book again.

An excellent surprise
At first sight it looks like just another Mom and Pop motel. But it is so much more. Very attractive flowere hangers and shrubbery, immaculately clean, fully equipped kichen, good quality soaps and shampoo, 2 separate bedrooms. We were delighted with it and would certainly stay there again.

We have stayed several times through the years before and after our kayak camping trip to the Broken Group. Love the signature hanging baskets and rubber duckies! The remodeling is very nicely done.

I had a nice stay. There were just a few issues. One being that the shower is rather awkward and tight. The other issue was that the soundproofing wasn't fantastic. Otherwise a great stay. I'd return.
