Cottage on Yass River, Private Farm Stay - Pet & Horse Friendly
Yass River

“There is a small enclosed yard, but it is not attached to the house. Dog had to be on a lead to get to the yard, which was challenging at night. there are many other dogs on the property and although contained, they barked a lot at night. The space did not feel private as there are many other dwellings on the property. Would suit a small dog ok, but not our dog of working breed.”

“Overall first impression appearance is good, house appears neat and tidy. However does not match photos Positives- Lovely quiet area; Beds very comfortable & bedrooms all very spacious. Had issue connecting to wifi which we contacted Stayz about, Owner quick to make contact & rectify for us. Living room spacious with enough seating areas. Bathroom clean & tidy.Negatives - Lounge chairs have seen better days & the edges of the seating cushions were extremely dry and rough. The rug in the lounge……

“The property was clean & comfortable, walking distance to shops and cafes. There could have been more kitchen utensils, eg. a small juice squeezer, more large chopping boards. The exhaust fan over the hotplates, needed cleaning. The small backyard had not been swept of leaves for quite some time, constantly walking through the thick layer of leaves to get to the back door. We were unable to use the car park outside the garage door, due to another "P" plate car parked there the whole time we……

“Great views and location (access to the lake for walks, Belconnen markets and University of Canberra). The unit was roomy and warm. Unfortunately there was not enough crockery for guests staying for a longer period as we did, and the crockery, cutlery and cookware were pretty poor standard. Checking in and out was a bit of a process but we had very clear instructions. Great to have access to a car park. Would have been handy to have 2 keys to the property for 2 guests.”
