Good place for families and couples
Excellent condition to room which is good size. New looking bathroom and sofa. Very comfortable bed. Recommend.

Great for a short family stay
It was perfect for our short stay. Enough room for four people to be comfortable and the in room kitchenette was great!

Our Saay at City Residence, Nantes.
The City Residence Hotel is a really lovely Hotel, location easy to find, Reception staff Friendly, very helpful and courteous. The room was really well laid out, .comfortable and clean. Sorry no photos.

Friendly staff, decent rooms, Kitchenette equipped minimally, close to 2 big shopping centers (L'Eclerc & Carrefour), big parking (not so safe if you dont park close to the hotel buildings)

Very bad experience
Very bad. No one was in receiption when we arrived we stay 45 minutes outside in the cold weather until one of the guest was speaking English and he was able to help us he called emergency number and was able to help us. If you don’t speak French you will face big problems.

cheap but not cheerful
used the hotel for an overnight stay before flying out of nantes airport. Can forgive the basic furniture as it wasn't expensive but the entire place needed a deep clean. At least the sheets were clean but I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. The fridge had not been cleaned either and the cooking pans needed replacing.

Good place to sleep but that's about it!
Plenty of space for 3-4 people. Quiet area. Room was clean, but the hallway carpet was disguisting. Washroom door did not lock. Location is not really close to anything except a McDonald's and grocery store. Wifi was terrible. Water is only available in the vending machine in the next building.

Spacious rooms at low rate
Great location if tracvelling by car and wanting to visit Nantes. A short drive to several supermarkets, restaurants and the tram into the town centre. Rooms were spacious with a kitchen, sofa bed and seperate double room. Ideal for families - lots of space. A cheap and comfortable stay.

Nice hotel but somewhat suburban location
There wasn't a whole lot to do near the hotel, but we were just staying for one night on our way somewhere else so it wasn't a problem. While the reception desk wasn't open the whole time we were there, there was a safe deposit box outside which made it easy to check in and out on our own. The laundry room is small (only one washer + dryer) but perfectly usable. Internet didn't work as promised.

Close to stadium, less than 10 minute walk
Walking distance to stadium. Spacious room. Lobby closes at 7PM which makes checking difficult. Big parking lot. Access by car tricky as you have to do a U turn in a big intersection if you come from the North.

Comfortable and tidy for families
Very surprised by the size and quality of the room when the price is taken into account. The facilities within the room were ideal for me, my wife and two youngsters under 10 and the decor was excellent. My only complaint is that the reception was not manned for most of my stay. Having said that, we arrived after 8.30pm and, although not there that evening, the instructions provided were very clear as to how to obtain our room key and they were in attendance when we checked out the next day. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place to stay although it is not that easy to find and has no restaurant facilities within the complex (although several nearby).

Nantes-
Unfortunately, the hotel-apartment is quite far from the centre-ville. It's at least a 15-20 min walk from the nearest tram station. Not handy if you don't have a car, especially if it's cold or rainy. That being said, the room itself for the price is really quite magnificent. It's beautifully decorated, and it has everything you'd expect from a home away from home (dishes, a stove, microwave, etc.). The bathroom and shower were exceptional.

Ayant réservé pour 2 nuits j'ai était prélevé 3 fois 70€ et l'hôtel me dit qu'il ne peut rien faire les draps de la chambre n'ont pas était changé il faisait plus de 25 degrés dans la chambre aucune climatisation j'aimerais que l'hôtel fasse un geste commercial pour le prélèvement qui m'a était prélevé cordialement
