Nice hotel close to city center

The stay in Radisson went great! The staff are very friendly and approachable! The buffet breakfast was awesome too!

Very nice hotel and worth every penny. Only issue I had was some orange juice spilled in the fridge that was left from last guest.

Nice but ask to see the room first.

It always bothers me when a hotel is trying to unload their less favorable rooms on guests. We booked a junior suite and were offered a room upgrade for another 40 euros when we checked it. Since it was only one night we did not feel like we needed a larger room and elected to keep our original booking. When we got to our room on the top floor we found that it had only a skylight type small window that we did not like. When we went back to ask for a different room we were very quickly given a room on a lower floor with two large windows overlooking a garden. This room was the same size as the room we were first offered and obviously available. why wouldn't you offer your better rooms first?! This is the kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in my mouth and would absolutely prevent me from coming back. The hotel is otherwise very nice and in a good location. Ask to see the room first and do not accept something you do not like.

First of all thank you very much to have stayed with us while visiting Nantes. I respect your comment about the room, nevertheless it is quite surprising. Before booking I am sure you read that the hotel is the result of the renovation of the former Court House dated 1868! You can then easily understand that all bedrooms are different from each other. Your taste can also be different from other guests, because some guests request only rooms on the top floor. Indeed the hotel is not a brand new building where all bedrooms and suites are exactly the same...Indeed no surprise. We want the guests to live an exceptional experience while staying in a former Court House. That's our purpose. That said, we hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you again. Best regards. An exceptional value!

Loved the hotel! Beautiful design, art and the building was gorgeous! The restaurant was world class. We would stay here anytime .

Worth staying here

The property was absolutely gorgeous, and when we arrived we were greeted by Julie at the registration desk, she was amazing; very professional and courteous.

Nice hotel but poor response to problem.

Pros: Clean, tidy. Reception staff spoke very good English.
Cons: No full length mirror in bedroom and only one chair
Location: Convenient for the tram and therefore everything is nearby.
Good hotel but we upgraded to a business class room and on the second night at 11pm the room had a complete.power failure. Reception staff did not seem to know how to react. Obviously we were moved to another room but found the suggestion that we would have to pack our luggage and take it with us a little odd as we would have to pack in the dark. Contrary to their policy that if they cannot resolve a problem they offer a free night we had no such offer. I do not consider moving down the corridor in the dead of night a resolution to the problem. On our return we e-mailed the hotel with our concerns but we not afforded the courtesy of a reply.

Very comfortable hotel

Pros: The spacious bedroom
Cons: Air conditioning. Replenishing of items when empty at breakfast.
Location: Close enough to all major attractions and restaurants
A very grand building encloses a very comfortable hotel with very modern overtones. The recent refit has been done very well and our room included small luxuries such as heated mirror in the bathroom and plenty of lights for various moods etc. Fairly spacious with a desk available for working at. Free wifi, which is good. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is pretty good for all the sites that you might want to visit, the furthest away was Les Machines but still only a 20 minute walk and 15 minutes to the old sector and a lot of the restaurants. Only negative was the inefficient air conditioning when set at 19 degrees didn't get below 23!

Radisson Blu is magnificent.

Wonderful service and attentive staff. This is easily a $600 a night hotel in New York. Instead it was $160 in Nantes. Beautiful restored palace. Immaculate and perfection in decor, ambience. Smack in the center and spotless. The rooms were gorgeous as were even the hallways. The room was chic and the beds are incredible, which is my #1 on my list of importance. Radiosson Blu gets it all right. I was blown away with how perfect everything was. Bravo!
